The exciting part of last year was Victor Cruz and Jordy Nelson shattering all expectations while Calvin Johnson seems to be getting a stranglehold on being the best wideout in the world. There is more transition in the position each season than perhaps a decade ago and before. Wide receiver is becoming the position with the most surprises and yet shorter career spans outside of running backs.
