Jamaal Charles, Chiefs –
Yes, the same guy who limped off in Week 2 carried 33 times in Week 3. He looked a shade slower than usual on his 91-yard TD run, but Charles a shade slower is still faster than most of the rest of the league.
Stevan Ridley, Patriots –
With Aaron Hernandez out the Patriots will run more three-WR sets, and that means more Danny Woodhead. However, the only way to explain the Brandon Bolden touchdown is... surprise, you've been Belichicked!
Jacquizz Rodgers, Falcons –
Michael Turner slogged his way to a touchdown, but we're starting to see more Rodgers with the first-team offense. Get used to it.
Mikel Leshoure, Lions –
Leshoure hit triple digits in his first game, while Kevin Smith was nowhere to be found. Speaking of found, looks like the Lions found themselves a running back.
Shonn Greene, Jets –
Greene carried 19 times at an abysmal 2.1 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Bilal Powell averaged 4.5 yards per carry and saw 10 attempts. Changing of the guard, perhaps?
Beanie Wells, Cardinals –
Wells limped off with yet another injury--he self-diagnosed this one as turf toe following the game--while Ryan Williams busted off 84 yards. If/when Beanie comes back, there won't be much of a role left for him.
