Demaryius Thomas, Broncos –
To this point Eric Decker has been the more consistent Denver wideout, but Thomas remains the big-play guy. And lately Peyton has been leaning on him to make plenty of big plays.
Denarius Moore, Raiders –
The key for Moore has been staying healthy; doesn't hurt that the Raiders find themselves behind and need to play catch-up, or that Carson Palmer loves to throw the ball up and let Moore run under it.
Hakeem Nicks, Giants –
Eli's struggles are trickling down, and while Victor Cruz had an awful game against the Bengals it was an aberration for him; for Nicks, it was just another non-helper--something we're seeing far too much of from someone with his considerable talent.
Sidney Rice, Seahawks –
Russell Wilson has a half-season of experience under his belt, and the offensive leash is getting a little longer. Not surprisingly, he's pegged Rice as his go-to receiver.
Danny Amendola, Rams –
It's a damn shame his 80-yard catch in overtime was wiped out by a penalty; would have been the capper on his return from a life-threatening busted collarbone in which he blew up the stat sheet anyway.
Antonio Brown, Steelers –
Now word out of Pittsburgh has Brown's absence at "a few weeks". But it's not a high ankle sprain. Riiiight.
Danario Alexander, Chargers –
You can start the countdown until Alexander's inevitable injury; they always seem to come after he teases us with a glimpse of what he could be if he could only stay healthy.
