Prediction: JAC 10 CLE 20 (Line: CLE by 7)

The 2-9 Jaguars come off a rare win though the offense is not generating many points to get there. The Jags are 2-4 on the road. The 4-7 Browns have lost their last two but are 3-3 in home games. No matter what happens, you can feel comfortable that it will not involve many points.

JAC @ CLE Rush Catch Pass
QB Chad Henne 200
WR Ace Sanders 5-60
WR Cecil Shorts 4-30
TE Marcedes Lewis 3-30
PK Josh Scobee 1 FG 1 XP

Pregame Notes: Not much fun for season ticket holders when the only wins the Jaguars get are on the road. Taking down the Titans and Texans helps but they are divisional rivals who played flat against them. This remains the lowest scoring offense and it is not even close. They are only averaging around 13 points per game.

QUARTERBACKS: Chad Henne started eight games so far and yet has just four passing touchdowns against nine interceptions. He's failed to score in more games than one that he did and even then it was never more than one touchdown.

RUNNING BACKS: While Maurice Jones-Drew is a disappointment, he is making up some ground in recent weeks. He comes off a season best 144 total yards in Houston and while his yardage was low, he did score in each of the last three games. Jones-Drew needs a soft matchup or at least plenty of trash time to produce any significant points and he still has not ran for more than 84 yards in any game. He's better but still not a difference maker.

WIDE RECEIVERS: Ace Sanders has back-to-back weeks with 61 yards in each but he still has yet to score an NFL touchdown and already turned in five different games with fewer than 15 yards. Cecil Shorts produced a solid eight catches for 71 yards. But Shorts is the only decent fantasy play of the Jaguar receivers and even then it is only for marginal yardage since he's scored just once all year. The best you can hope for is maybe 80 yards or so with him. No other wideouts matter.

TIGHT ENDS: No fantasy value.

MATCH TO THE DEFENSE: The Browns have been good against passing yardage with no team throwing for more than 272 yards on them. The Jags passing game is limited mostly to one person and safe assumption that Joe Haden locks on Cecil Shorts and neuters him this week. Maurice Jones-Drew remains the only interesting fantasy start and he won't produce more than moderate numbers if even that much. This is the lowest scoring offense for a reason.

WR Miles Austin 3-40
WR Nate Burleson 7-80,1
WR Josh Gordon 7-100,1
TE Jordan Cameron 4-30,1
PK Billy Cundiff 2 FG 2 XP

Pregame Notes: The Browns are no better than when they started the year and will be winding up on a down note with a very challenging remaining schedule other than this week. There have been no players developed on offense and the rebuilding is going to happen next year when they bring in at least a few new players. Their defense is good enough to get a win there but their offense will be why they likely lose all the rest.

QUARTERBACKS: Jason Campbell suffered a concussion in the Steelers game and is not expected to clear all the tests in time for this game. HC Rob Chudzinski already named Brandon Weeden as the quarterback for this week. Weeden still has yet to have a big game this year and never throws more than two scores in any game.

RUNNING BACKS: The Browns have already rightfully soured on the ineffective Willis McGahee. But the plan to give more work to Chris Ogbonnaya never happened. He was held to only four runs doe 26 yards in Pittsburgh and added just two catches for 15 yards. Foswhitt Whittaker had more touches than that. This unit ran in a score only once all year and remains one of the worst backfields in the NFL.

WIDE RECEIVERS: Josh Gordon may go down as the best supplemental draft pick ever. He comes off a career best 237 yards and one score against the Steelers and cranked out great stats in almost every week. He toped the century mark five times. He scored five times and broke 100 yards every time he did score. Greg Little and Davone Bess are never more than depth really. Gordon rules this offense.

TIGHT ENDS: Jordan Cameron really cooled down for the start of the year and he hasn't scored since week seven. He's well below fantasy relevance In recent weeks he's even declined from around 60 yards per game down to only under 30 yards. His use just goes down the later in the year it becomes.

MATCH TO THE DEFENSE: The positive here is that the Browns face one of the weaker defenses in the NFL that usually allows two or three scores per opponent but the yardage typically remains moderate. Their rushing defense has already permitted 11 touchdowns but the Browns won't attack much on the ground. This will need to move to the to be resolved. Gordon is the only decent fantasy play ever for this team in 2013.
