Prediction: OAK 20, DAL 31 (Line: DAL by 9.5)

The 6-5 Cowboys come off their close win in New York and are 4-1 in home games. The 4-7 Raiders are only 1-4 on the road. This game heavily favors the Cowboys since it is a short week for Thanksgiving and they always look great at home against a weak team. Maybe no other time, but this is a good situation for Turkey Day.

OAK @ DAL Rush Catch Pass
QB Matthew McGloin 190,1
RB Maurice Jones-Drew 60,1 2-20
RB Darren McFadden 20
WR James Jones 5-80
TE Mychal Rivera 5-40,1
PK Sebastian Janikowski 2 FG 2 XP

Pregame Notes: There are times that the Raiders play well but that never happens on the road other than when they faced the Texans. The remaining schedule is murderous. Short week and a trip to Dallas. Still have to play the Chiefs, Chargers and Broncos. Just another lost season for the Raiders but maybe the last one where they all sit around waiting for Darren McFadden.

QUARTERBACKS: Matthew McGloin is the named starter on Thursday and he followed up his impressive three-touchdown win in Houston with only 260 yards and one score in the loss to the Titans. He only threw one interception though and that alone makes him superior to Terrelle Pryor who threw eight picks against just one score in his last four games played.

RUNNING BACKS: A good sign the Raiders are thinking about winning now AND about the future is the news that Rashad Jennings remains the starting tailback and Darren McFadden returns this week to back him up and offer relief. Jennings was impressive in each of his four recent starts and gained over 100 total yards in each. That doesn't mean that McFadden cannot wrestle away any work with a few good runs, but it should dissuade you from taking the risk and starting McFadden this week.

WIDE RECEIVERS: Denarius Moore remains out with a sprained shoulder and his absence was felt last week. That left it all up to Rod Streater and he did gain 93 yards on five catches in the loss to the Titans. Streater also scored on his six receptions for 84 yards in Houston as well. Andre Holmes and Jacoby Ford are of little help and without Moore, the passing game revolves around Streater.

TIGHT ENDS: Mychal Rivera received a concussion last week and the hit was hard enough to knock his helmet off. But the Raiders are trying to rush him throught the testing and get him on the field for this game. Rivera scored once and gained 54 yards in Houston but that was his only decent game in two months.

MATCH TO THE DEFENSE: The Raiders catch a break since LB Sean Less is not expected to play. That should help out Jennings as he faces the worst defense against running backs and Rivera when he goes out for a pass. The defense already allowed 13 scores to the position and seven different runners have gained at least 80 rushing yards on the Cowboys. Where this is really hard to forecast is against the pass. Dallas is nothing special to be sure but neither are the Raiders on the road in a short week. Consider Rivera, Jennings and Streater as possible starts this week.

DAL vs OAK Rush Catch Pass
QB Tony Romo 270,2
QB Brandon Weeden 240,2
RB DeMarco Murray 80,1 2-20
WR Dez Bryant 6-80,1
WR Terrance Williams 2-30
TE Jason Witten 5-60,1
PK Dan Bailey 1 FG 4 XP

Pregame Notes: The win in New York makes the Cowboys 4-0 in their division and tied with the Eagles who they already beat and host in the season finale. Granted this is all likely set up to get waxed in the first playoff game but the NFC East has never been weaker. This week is the most favorable matchup left on the schedule and one that should generate good points in a national game.

The Cowboys host the Thanksgiving Day game each year. Getting the Raiders to visit then is the real treat.

QUARTERBACKS: Tony Romo throws at least one touchdown in every game and so far totals 23 passing touchdowns against only seven interceptions. Each time the Cowboys have played any non-divisional team in Dallas they roll up big stats and fantasy points. Facing the Raiders should really make the day Thanksgiving for Romo.

RUNNING BACKS: DeMarco Murray is running better in recent weeks and gained over 80 yards in both New Orleans and New York. He still has just the one game over 100 when he shredded the Rams and he's scored four times. Murray is no difference maker but at least he isn't a liability in recent games.

WIDE RECEIVERS: After Dez Bryant complained over the bye about only getting one catch in the Saints loss, he was thrown a season high 16 passes for nine receptions for 102 yards in New York. Terrance Williams scored five times this year but is phased out with Miles Austin back in the picture. Williams only caught one pass in each of the last two games. Miles Austin returned and played a full complement of snaps but only caught one pass for 17 yards. He'll improve quickly or Williams will resume his spot. The offense was better balanced when Williams was used more heavily.

TIGHT ENDS: Just when you write off Jason Witten, he scores twice against the Giants. Witten has been inconsistent and four times turned in sub-40 yards efforts that kills a fantasy team. But he is being used more often and adds a much needed element back into the offense.

MATCH TO THE DEFENSE: The Raiders rank poorly and they already gave just two 400 yard games and in week nine Nick Foles tossed seven touchdown passes to get his name in the NFL record book. The Raiders rushing defense is mostly solid. This has all the marks of a nice. solid win for the Cowboys. Expect Romo, Bryant and Witten to deserve a start and for the others to be too risky. This should be a fun air battle to watch.
