WEEK 17 BAL at CIN DEN at OAK JAC at IND STL at SEA
BUF at NE DET at MIN KC at SD TB at NO
CAR at ATL GB at CHI NYJ at MIA WAS at NYG
*UPDATED CLE at PIT HOU at TEN SF at ARI PHI at DAL

Prediction: JAC 10, IND 30 (Line: IND by 11.5)

This is a replay of week four when the Colts won 37-3 in Jacksonville. The Jags are only 3-4 on the road and the Colts are 5-2 at home. The Colts have a shot at the #2 seed if they win and the Patriots lose to the Bills and they cannot know what happens as they both play in early games. There is a chance that they could get late game notice that the Pats were winning big but even then the Colts don't want to lose and let the Bengals win because the higher ranked team will play a much worse team than the Chiefs in the first round.

JAC @ IND Rush Catch Pass
QB Chad Henne 180,1
WR Mike Brown 4-60
WR Ace Sanders 3-40
TE Marcedes Lewis 5-30,1
PK Josh Scobee 1 FG 1 XP

Pregame Notes: The Jaguars wind down a season that never really started but at least their four wins all happened in the last seven weeks and they are on a slightly higher note than back when they were 0-8.

Blaine Gabbert lost his job to Chad Henne but that is certain to change next year when the Jaguars search for yet another quarterback if not all new coaches. Gabbert was the starter in the first meeting with the Jags but only passed for 179 yards and three interceptions. Henne is actually on a four game streak with two touchdowns though yardage as always remains low. Henne still only threw 12 touchdowns this year going into the finale. Losing most of his receivers did not help.

Maurice Jones-Drew was able to play last week but just turned in his second game of the year around 40 rushing yards versus the Titans. Jones-Drew ran for only 23 yards on 13 carries in the first meeting with the Colts. Held been on a serious decline this year and scored only five times while rushing for more than 80 yards only twice.

Marcedes Lewis never ends up with more than around 50 yards but scor3ed in each of the last four games. He's become a primary receiver by default after all the injuries. Cecil Shorts was shut down after week 14 and Justin Blackmon never made it past week eight. Ace Sanders is learning by jumping into the fire but still not better than around 60 yards in a game so far.

Back in week two, Marcedes Lewis was still out injured and Shorts went for 93 yards on eight catches versus these Colts. Mike Brown has become a starter by attrition and scored just last week. But the Jags are down to second string wide receivers and a banged up Jones-Drew.

MATCH TO THE DEFENSE: The Colts already decimated the Jags and that was back when the season was young and players were still healthy. Jones-Drew is the only possible fantasy start here and even that is more risk than reward. Any touchdown would be a surprise since none happened back when the game was at home for the Jags and their team was still largely intact.

IND vs JAC Rush Catch Pass
QB Andrew Luck 250,2
RB Trent Richardson 60 3-20
WR T.Y. Hilton 4-60
WR Da'Rick Rogers 3-30
WR Griff Whalen 5-60,1
TE Coby Fleener 4-50,1
PK Adam Vinatieri 3 FG 3 XP

Pregame Notes: The Colts come off an impressive win in Kansas City and that gives them wins over the three best record in the NFL - the Chiefs, Broncos and Seahawks. And yet this team lost to the Rams and Cardinals.

Andrew Luck was more consistent back when Reggie Wayne was playing but has recently been back to more productive ways. Luck has been throwing for average yardage in every game except the Bengals loss when he spiked with 326 yards and four scores. That was more touchdowns than he scored in five other games of the last six weeks. Luck passed for 257 yard and two touchdowns in the first meeting with the Jaguars.

Donald Brown is still not a full-time back and has never ran more than 14 times in any game but he just scored on a run and a catch in Kansas City and is consistently out performing Trent Richardson. Against the Jags in week four, Brown ran for 65 yards on just three carries while Richardson rushed 20 times for 60 yards and one score. They continue to play around with the carries for both and Richardson had the bigger portion in the last two weeks.

Coby Fleener had his best game of the year when he scored once on five receptions for 77 yards against the Jaguars. He's been only a minor factor in most games though and totaled only two catches for eight yards over the last two weeks.

Darrius Heyward-Bey is now just a special teamer. Reggie Wayne is on injured reserve and T.Y. Hilton was forgettable in his last six games since he just cannot handle becoming the primary concern of the secondary. Griff Whalen was undrafted in 2012 but he is getting more work lately with a score against the Texans and then 80 yards on seven catches in Kansas City to lead the team. He's not just a smaller undrafted white guy. He is a smaller, undrafted white guy who played with Luck at Stanford.

The Colts are also giving the uber-talented, previous head-case Da'Rick Rogers a shot and his first game contained six catches for 107 yards and two scores in Cincinnati. Luck is spinning through the receiver depth and making do with what he has to work with.

MATCH TO THE DEFENSE: Colts are at home and need this win. They already crushed the Jags back in week four. The Jaguars on the road have yielded multiple touchdowns to road quarterbacks in every game since the opener. But they are also weak against the run. Luck is worth considering but the evolving receiver corps and varying workloads of the running backs make it hard to rely on any of them now. There will be fantasy value here to be sure, but where it goes is less certain.
