James Conner - RB - Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers RB James Conner (ankle) will be evaluated Monday, Dec. 10, but there is a possibility that he could miss Week 15's game against the New England Patriots.
Huddle Up: Conner was injured during Week 13's game versus the Los Angeles Chargers and has already been ruled out for Week 14's contest against the Oakland Raiders. Jaylen Samuels will receive the bulk of the carries for as long as Conner is sidelined and warrants consideration as a flex option in most fantasy formats. Stevan Ridley could also see a handful of carries but should be avoided in all leagues.
Matthew Stafford - QB - Detroit Lions
Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (back) is expected to play in Week 14's game against the Arizona Cardinals, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Stafford had been listed as questionable on the injury report after being a limited participant in all three of the team's practice sessions during the week. He should be viewed as a low-end QB1 in most fantasy formats.
Sammy Watkins - WR - Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (foot) has been ruled out for Week 14's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Huddle Up: Watkins had been listed as doubtful on the injury report after injuring his foot in practice Thursday, Dec. 6, and he should be considered week-to-week. There is a strong possibility that he won't be able to return until the NFL postseason begins, so owners in redraft leagues can cut ties with him.
Keke Coutee - WR - Houston Texans
Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) is likely to miss Week 14's game against the Indianapolis Colts, unless he has 'a great workout pregame,' according to a source.
Huddle Up: Coutee had been listed as questionable on the injury report after participating in all three of the team's practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. He has battled hamstring problems all season and should be considered a risky fantasy play even if he is active this afternoon, so owners should look for safer alternatives.
Doug Martin - RB - Oakland Raiders
Oakland Raiders RB Doug Martin (knee) is expected to play in Week 14's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Martin was listed as questionable on the injury report despite being a full participant in all three of the team's practice sessions during the week. He will continue to receive the bulk of the carries for Oakland and should be viewed as a low-end RB2 or flex option in standard fantasy leagues.
Isaiah Crowell - RB - New York Jets
New York Jets RB Isaiah Crowell (toe) is expected to play against the Buffalo Bills in Week 14, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Crowell has been a touchdown-dependent, all-or-nothing flex play this year, and he finished with seven carries for 19 yards and a score in the first meeting with the Bills. Banking on another Crowell touchdown this weekend is a risky proposition with the fantasy playoffs in full swing.
Chase Edmonds - RB - Arizona Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds said he sees himself taking on a role similar to that of Chicago Bears RB Tarik Cohen rather than a copy of RB David Johnson.
Huddle Up: Edmonds is coming off of a two-touchdown performance, but he has only been seeing a handful of touches per game. He is simply a handcuff to Johnson at this point.
Stefon Diggs - WR - Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota Vikings WR Stefon Diggs (knee) was limited in practice Saturday, Dec. 8.
Huddle Up: Diggs was limited in practice all week and should be able to this week, especially since he has an extra day to recover since the Vikings play Monday night. Keep him in starting lineups, but temper expectations since he's been hampered the last two weeks.
Chris Carson - RB - Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks RB Chris Carson (finger) participated fully in practice Saturday, Dec. 8.
Huddle Up: Carson is good to go, but he's good to go against one of the better rush defenses in the NFL in the Minnesota Vikings. Start him if you're hard pressed and have guys like James Conner, Melvin Gordon or Matt Breida. He's in low-end RB2 territory all things considered.
Doug Baldwin - WR - Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (hip) did not practice Saturday, Dec. 8, and is a game-time decision for Week 14, according to head coach Pete Carroll.
Huddle Up: Baldwin didn't practice all week, but it's encouraging that he hasn't been completely ruled out yet. David Moore is a suitable backup plan for Baldwin since the Seahawks play on Monday night. That is Moore is available on waivers.
Odell Beckham - WR - New York Giants
New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (quadriceps) is scheduled to undergo tests to determine the severity of his quadriceps injury. Beckham is believed to have a bruised quadriceps muscle.
Huddle Up: Owners should keep an eye on the situation to see if Beckham will only miss one game because of the injury. Sterling Shepard probably will be the top receiver for the Giants in Week 14 and could be No. 3 receiver or flex option.
Odell Beckham - WR - New York Giants
New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (quadriceps) did not travel with the team for their Week 14 game and has been ruled out.
Huddle Up: Sterling Shepard, Saquon Barkley and Evan Engram likely will see more targets in the passing game with Beckham out. Barkley and Engram should be starting options in all leagues, while Shepard can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option.
Tyler Boyd - WR - Cincinnati Bengals
Cincinnati Bengals WR Tyler Boyd said he would be open to signing a contract extension during the offseason, as opposed to waiting to test the free agency waters after his rookie deal expires following the 2019 season.
Huddle Up: The 24-year-old Boyd is just 62 yards away from reaching 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in his career. He has 13 receptions for 182 yards and a touchdown over his last two contests and can be viewed as a WR2 for Week 14's game versus the Los Angeles Chargers.
T.Y. Hilton - WR - Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (shoulder) will be a game-time decision for Week 14's game against the Houston Texans, according to head coach Frank Reich.
Huddle Up: Hilton was listed as questionable on the injury report after only logging one limited practice session this week. He has 24 catches for 357 yards and two touchdowns over his last three games and has performed well against the Texans in the past, so he should be viewed as a WR1 in all fantasy formats as long as he is active.
