Fantasy Football Breaking News

  • Tarik Cohen - RB - Chicago Bears
    Posted 11/18/18 8:34pm ET

Chicago Bears RB Tarik Cohen carried seven times for 27 yards in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings and he added three receptions for 23 yards.

Huddle Up: It seemed like he had a lot more production, but he still averaged just 5.0 yards per touch. He'll look for better results against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day against a defense which yielded over 100 total scrimmage yards to Christian McCaffrey of the Panthers on Sunday.

  • Jordan Howard - RB - Chicago Bears
    Posted 11/18/18 8:31pm ET

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard ran 18 times for a game-high 63 yards in the Week 11 game against the Minnesota Vikings and he added a two-yard catch.

Huddle Up: Howard didn't tear it up, but he was able to manage 3.5 yards per tote while serving as the closer with the team leading. He remains more of a RB3 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 12 against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day.

  • Mitchell Trubisky - QB - Chicago Bears
    Posted 11/18/18 8:29pm ET

Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky completed 20-of-31 passes for 165 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the Week 11 game against the Minnesota Vikings while rushing for 43 yards.

Huddle Up: Trubisky failed to hit 200 yards for the second time in three games, but he has at least one touchdown strike in seven straight outings. The Bears are rolling along and Trubisky is a borderline low-end QB1 or QB2 heading into Week 12 against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving.

  • Dalvin Cook - RB - Minnesota Vikings
    Posted 11/18/18 8:24pm ET

Minnesota Vikings RB Dalvin Cook rushed nine times for 12 yards and lost two yards on three receptions in a 25-20 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Cook was unable to build on his solid showing against Detroit a couple of weeks ago, but Chicago's defense deserves some of the credit. Cook should have more running next time out against Green Bay, but it is best to treat him as a flex option until he string together a few good performances.

  • Antonio Gates - TE - Los Angeles Chargers
    Posted 11/18/18 8:19pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers TE Antonio Gates caught five of his seven targets for a season-high 80 yards and a touchdown in a 23-22 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Prior to Sunday's game, Gates had topped 20 receiving yards just twice all year and not since Week 4. This performance will almost certainly be the exception and not the rule, so consider Gates a desperation, touchdown-dependent option moving forward.

  • Keenan Allen - WR - Los Angeles Chargers
    Posted 11/18/18 8:14pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen caught nine of his 12 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in a 23-22 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Allen has been picking up the pace recently, scoring in back-to-back games and seeing at least nine targets in three straight. He's back to being a solid WR2, especially in PPR formats.

  • Melvin Gordon - RB - Los Angeles Chargers
    Posted 11/18/18 8:09pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers RB Melvin Gordon rushed 18 times for 69 yards and caught six passes for 87 yards in a 23-22 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Gordon did everything but find the end zone in this one, and his huge workload gives him one of the highest floors of any RB1.

  • Philip Rivers - QB - Los Angeles Chargers
    Posted 11/18/18 7:53pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers QB Philip Rivers completed 28 of his 43 passes for 401 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in a 23-22 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Rivers can still pile up yards when he needs to, and he has thrown at least two touchdowns in every game this year. He offers a safe floor as a low-end QB1.

  • Michael Thomas - WR - New Orleans Saints
    Posted 11/18/18 7:38pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas registered four receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Huddle Up: Thomas was actually overshadowed by Tre'Quan Smith in this one, but Thomas still had a pretty good day that his fantasy owners can't complain about. He'll try to stay hot on Thanksgiving night against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 12.

  • Courtland Sutton - WR - Denver Broncos
    Posted 11/18/18 7:37pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton caught three of his six targets for 78 yards in a 23-22 win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11.

Huddle Up: The sample size is small, but Sutton is showing big-play ability, averaging nearly 20 yards per reception. Now that he has a featured role in the offense, he could be worth taking a chance on as a flex option.

  • Tre'Quan Smith - WR - New Orleans Saints
    Posted 11/18/18 7:34pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Tre'Quan Smith finished with 10 receptions for a career-high 157 yards and one touchdown with 13 targets in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Huddle Up: Smith posted his second 100-yard game of the season, and he found the end zone for the fourth time in the past six games. He has emerged as a strong WR3 or flex fantasy play in the high-octane New Orleans offense heading into Week 12 against the Atlanta Falcons on Thanksgiving night.

  • Alvin Kamara - RB - New Orleans Saints
    Posted 11/18/18 7:31pm ET

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed 13 times for 71 yards in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles and he added one catch for a 37-yard touchdown.

Huddle Up: Kamara and Mark Ingram are the best one-two backfield punch in the league right now, and even though both are producing at a high rate they're each must-start fantasy options and not cannibalizing each other. The Saints will host the Falcons in Week 12 on Thanksgiving night.

  • Mark Ingram - RB - New Orleans Saints
    Posted 11/18/18 7:28pm ET

New Orleans Saints RB Mark Ingram rushed 16 times for 103 yards and two touchdowns in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Huddle Up: Ingram has hit the century mark in back-to-back games, looking more and more like an RB1 in all fantasy leagues. He'll get a crack at the Atlanta Falcons in Week 12 on Thanksgiving night.

  • Royce Freeman - RB - Denver Broncos
    Posted 11/18/18 7:28pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Royce Freeman rushed seven times for 23 yards and a touchdown in a 23-22 win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Phillip Lindsay has grabbed the reins of the Denver backfield, but Freeman does still receive carries near the goal line. He's a completely touchdown-dependent option at this point.

  • Drew Brees - QB - New Orleans Saints
    Posted 11/18/18 7:25pm ET

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees completed 22-of-30 passes for 363 yards, four touchdowns and no interception in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Huddle Up: Brees had his way with the Eagles, and he now has 11 passing touchdowns and one rushing score over the past three outings, including three or more TD strikes during the run. He is a fantasy beast and the Saints offense is a buzzsaw right now. Next up is a home game against the Falcons in Week 12 on Thanksgiving night.

  • Nelson Agholor - WR - Philadelphia Eagles
    Posted 11/18/18 7:15pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor had no catches on two targets in Week 11 against the New Orleans Saints.

Huddle Up: Agholor appears to be behind Golden Tate, Jordan Matthews, Alshon Jeffery and Zach Ertz in the pecking order for targets, and that's not a good thing for his fantasy value. The Eagles host the Giants in Week 12.

  • Phillip Lindsay - RB - Denver Broncos
    Posted 11/18/18 7:14pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay rushed 11 times for 79 yards and two touchdowns and caught four passes for 27 yards in a 23-22 win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Lindsay continues to make the most of his touches, showing explosiveness as a runner and versatility in the passing game. He's developed in a strong RB2 option.

  • Christian Kirk - WR - Arizona Cardinals
    Posted 11/18/18 7:11pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Christian Kirk caught three passes on four targets for 77 yards and a touchdown in a 23-21 loss to the Oakland Raiders in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Kirk's big-play ability is undeniable, but until he starts to show some consistent production, he will remain a risky flex play.

  • Larry Fitzgerald - WR - Arizona Cardinals
    Posted 11/18/18 7:03pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald caught two passes for 23 yards and two touchdowns in a 23-21 loss to the Oakland Raiders in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald's yardage totals have remained disappointing most weeks, but he does have four touchdowns in his last four games. He can be a touchdown-dependent flex play.

  • Zach Ertz - TE - Philadelphia Eagles
    Posted 11/18/18 6:56pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz finished with two receptions for just 15 yards in Week 11 against the New Orleans Saints.

Huddle Up: It was a disappointing day for the fantasy owners of Ertz, as way more was expected in what appears to be a very favorable matchup in the dome in a potential shootout against a porous pass defense. He'll look to regroup in Week 12 against the Giants.
