Fantasy Football Breaking News

  • Doug Baldwin - WR - Seattle Seahawks
    Posted 12/12/18 4:59pm ET

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (hip) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Baldwin was not able to play in the last game and is appears to be uncertain for Week 15. Owners should keep an eye on the situation during the week but will need other options available if Baldwin is not able to play.

  • Philip Rivers - QB - Los Angeles Chargers
    Posted 12/12/18 4:54pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers QB Philip Rivers has produced his lowest passer rating (84.2) against the Kansas City Chiefs compared to any other opponent whom he's faced more than three times in his 15-year career. He faces the Chiefs in Week 15 on Thursday, Dec. 13.

Huddle Up: It's a pretty interesting stat, given that Thursday's outing will mark Rivers' 27th career start opposite Kansas City -- his most games against one opponent. Even so, it would be hard to justify benching Rivers considering the great year he's having and the fact the Chiefs surrender the fifth-most points per game (27) in the NFL.

  • Matt Breida - RB - San Francisco 49ers
    Posted 12/12/18 4:27pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Matt Breida (ankle) got in a limited practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: It's a good start to the week for Breida, who missed last week's contest against the Broncos. Jeff Wilson has filled in capably on the interim but obviously, once Breida is back, he's the man to roll with out of this San Francisco backfield.

  • Ben Roethlisberger - QB - Pittsburgh Steelers
    Posted 12/12/18 4:05pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (ribs) missed practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Big Ben had to spend a little bit of time on the sidelines in last week's loss in Oakland. Seeing as how he was able to return, though, it would seem more likely than not he plays this week in a very important game with the Patriots. As usual, he'll be a QB1 if he's active.

  • James Conner - RB - Pittsburgh Steelers
    Posted 12/12/18 4:03pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers RB James Conner (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: This isn't how fantasy owners wanted the week to begin for Conner after the second-year tailback missed his first game of the season this past Sunday. If he remains out, Jaylen Samuels would once again occupy an RB1 role in an advantageous matchup.

  • Deshaun Watson - QB - Houston Texans
    Posted 12/12/18 4:00pm ET

Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Watson is coming off a solid Week 14 performance but has been held to one touchdown in three of the last four games. He should have some success against the New York Jets and can be a low-end No. 1 quarterback.

  • DeAndre Hopkins - WR - Houston Texans
    Posted 12/12/18 3:57pm ET

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins (foot) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Hopkins is in no danger of missing the Week 15 game and should continue to be considered a No. 1 receiver in all leagues.

  • Keke Coutee - WR - Houston Texans
    Posted 12/12/18 3:45pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Coutee probably will be a game-time decision again this week, but owners will need to monitor the situation over the next few days. He would be a risky option if he is active for the game and could be benched if owners have more reliable options available.

  • Aaron Rodgers - QB - Green Bay Packers
    Posted 12/12/18 3:39pm ET

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Rodgers has been held to under 200 yards in three of the last five games but does have eight touchdowns during that span. He will have a tough matchup this week but can still be a No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

  • Randall Cobb - WR - Green Bay Packers
    Posted 12/12/18 3:36pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Cobb is coming off one of his better games of the season and has been targeted at least five times in every game this season. He has a chance to be a flex option for owners despite the matchup.

  • Jimmy Graham - TE - Green Bay Packers
    Posted 12/12/18 3:35pm ET

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (knee, thumb) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Graham likely will be able to play in Week 15 even though he was not on the field Wednesday. He is coming off a disappointing Week 14 performance and has been held to under 20 yards in three of the last five games. He is facing a tough Chicago Bears defense and is no more than a low-end No. 1 tight end in some leagues.

  • Lamar Jackson - QB - Baltimore Ravens
    Posted 12/12/18 3:22pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Jackson is receiving another start this week and has posted at least 200 total yards in each of the last four games. He should have success against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week and can be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in deeper leagues.

  • Michael Crabtree - WR - Baltimore Ravens
    Posted 12/12/18 3:21pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has been held to three receptions or less in each of the last six games and has not posted more than 40 yards in any of those games. The Ravens are running more with Lamar Jackson as the quarterback, which hurts Crabtree fantasy value. He should have a favorable matchup this week but would not be more than a flex option.

  • DeSean Jackson - WR - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Posted 12/12/18 3:03pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR DeSean Jackson (thumb) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Jackson's status for Week 15 is up in the air, and that's not good since most are in their fantasy playoffs. He can only be trusted this week if he is removed completely from the injury report on Friday, and even then he is only a WR4 or flex fantasy option in PPR with lesser value in standard.

  • Ryan Tannehill - QB - Miami Dolphins
    Posted 12/12/18 2:57pm ET

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill (shoulder, ankle) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Tannehill is likely just taking it easy getting ready for this weekend's game in Minnesota, which is a bit of a must-win situation if Miami seriously wants to sneak into the AFC playoffs. However, he is more of a QB2 in most leagues for your fantasy playoffs.

  • Kenyan Drake - RB - Miami Dolphins
    Posted 12/12/18 2:51pm ET

Miami Dolphins RB Kenyan Drake (shoulder) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Drake has been an effective fantasy player down the stretch, scoring in three consecutive games with receiving touchdowns (and he has four total during the span). He has been a solid RB3 or flex fantasy play in all formats for his ability to sniff out the end zone lately.

  • Danny Amendola - WR - Miami Dolphins
    Posted 12/12/18 2:48pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Danny Amendola (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: It's been pretty standard practice for Amendola, as he has been getting the veteran's day to rest for maintenance. Check back Friday for the official injury designation. When active he can still be a useful WR4 or flex fantasy option in deeper leagues.

  • Adam Thielen - WR - Minnesota Vikings
    Posted 12/12/18 2:40pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (ankle) was able to take part in a full practice session Friday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Thielen, who left Monday's game in Seattle, but was able to return, is likely to be ready for Week 15. However, check back Friday for his official injury designation before finalizing your fantasy lineup.

  • Matthew Stafford - QB - Detroit Lions
    Posted 12/12/18 2:31pm ET

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (back) was limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Stafford has been a huge disappointment this year. That disappointment should continue against an underrated Buffalo Bills defense. Don't put the hopes of your playoff squad on Stafford's shoulders.

  • Kerryon Johnson - RB - Detroit Lions
    Posted 12/12/18 2:28pm ET

Detroit Lions RB Kerryon Johnson (knee) was held out of practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Unless Johnson can practice at all this week it's likely that he'll be inactive for a fourth straight game. Neither LeGarrette Blount nor Theo Riddick can be trusted, but Riddick is worth a flier if you're desperate in PPR formats.
