New England Patriots CB Alfonzo Dennard is facing up to six years in prison after being found guilty of assaulting a Nebraska police officer, a felony, and resisting arrest. Dennard will be sentenced April 11.
Huddle Up: The incident, which occurred five days before last year's draft, knocked Dennard from a possible second-round pick all the way to the seventh round. The six years is a worst-case scenario; it's possible he winds up with probation and a significantly lesser amount of time in lockup that could be served prior to the start of the 2013 season.
