Mychal Rivera | TE | Oakland Raiders

The Oakland Raiders are counting on TE Mychal Rivera to be an active part of the passing game this upcoming season. Rivera will need to improve his blocking if he wants to become an every-down player.
Huddle Up: Blocking is nice for a tight end, but Rivera is more of the pass-catching TE that fantasy owners can truly appreciate. And if he's on the field in a Matt Schaub-run offense, there's a good chance he'll make some fantasy noise.

Updating a previous report, Oakland Raiders TE Mychal Rivera said Monday, Nov. 25, he has passed all concussion tests and is fully cleared. He expects to play in the Week 13 game against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, Nov. 28.
Huddle Up: Rivera, who had been coming on with 11 receptions for 112 yards and a TD over his previous 3 games, was knocked out of the Week 12 contest early with a concussion and finished with only 1 catch for 10 yards. Look for confirmation from the Raiders over the next 2 days if you need to use Rivera on Thursday.

Oakland Raiders TE Mychal Rivera (concussion) was taken to the locker room to be checked for concussion in the Week 12 game against the Tennessee Titans. He returned to the sidelines in the second quarter, and was talking with team trainers and doctors on the sideline.
Huddle Up: Rivera was crushed, thankfully he was OK. If you were desperate enough to rely on him, you might have to find someone else in the coming weeks.
