San Diego Chargers LB Manti Te'o (foot) is not participating in practice Saturday, Aug. 10, and is wearing a protective boot on his right foot. The Chargers did not report any injuries after their first preseason game.
Huddle Up: Te'o played nine snaps in Thursday's preseason game; all with the first-team defense. However, he came off the field on third downs and didn't make the stat sheet. The injury is something to monitor but since the Chargers reported no injuries, it likely isn't serious.
