The Baltimore Ravens could release RB Rolando McClain prior to the start of the 2013 season. Even though the team was hopeful McClain could play a big role for them, he was guaranteed no money in his contract. His deal only could be worth a maximum of $1.1 million. McClain might have not lasted through training camp, even without his most recent legal trouble.
Huddle Up: Smart thinking by the Ravens as some players seem intent on writing their own ticket out of the league, and McClain, the eighth-overall selection in 2010, is well on his way on joining the ignominious list.

Baltimore Ravens LB Rolando McClain was arrested Sunday, April 21, in his hometown of Decatur, Ala. Police confirmed McClain has been charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. McClain was also arrested in Decatur in January when he was pulled over for a window tint violation.
Huddle Up: McClain can't seem to get out of his own way. He hasn't accomplished enough on the field for NFL teams to overlook his off-the-field issues; we'll see how the Ravens handle his showing up in the police blotter before ever taking the field in Baltimore.

The Baltimore Ravens agreed to terms with free-agent LB Rolando McClain on an undisclosed deal Wednesday, April 10. McClain must still pass a physical.
Huddle Up: McClain underachieved in Oakland, earning a two-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the team along the way. The Ravens have lost some of their locker room leadership this past offseason, but if they can find a way to keep McClain in line he should help fill holes in the Baltimore defense.

The Tennessee Titans do not have any interest in signing free-agent LB Rolando McClain (Raiders).
Huddle Up: McClain's stock has fallen steadily since he was chosen with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2010 draft. He had a career-low 60 tackles in 9 starts with the Raiders last season.
