New England Patriots WR Brandon LaFell (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 28, and is listed as questionable for Week 13.
Huddle Up: LaFell is expected to play against the Packers. He's a WR3 this week in what could be a high-scoring game.

New England Patriots WR Brandon LaFell had a team-high six receptions for a game-high 119 yards and a touchdown in the Week 4 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs Monday, Sept. 29. It was LaFell's first TD with the Patriots.
Huddle Up: To this point Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski were the only members of New England's passing game worthy of fantasy attention. However, with Aaron Dobson and Kenbrell Thompkins consistently healthy scratches and LaFell playing well, he may slip onto the fantasy radar.

New England Patriots WR Brandon LaFell and Kenbrell Thompkins each posted touchdown grabs in the preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles Friday, Aug. 15. LaFell was targeted three times, catching two for 29 yards and the score, while Thompkins had three receptions for 32 yards and a touchdown while being targeted four times.
Huddle Up: While Tom Brady praised Thompkins after the game, it's still up in the air who will emerge, if anyone, in this battle. With Aaron Dobson (foot) still out, Thompkins has made the most of his pre-season starting opportunities. But the spot is still likely Dobson's to be had if he can get healthy.

Updating a previous item, New England Patriots WR Brandon LaFell is expected to make roughly $11 million over three years with his new contract. No information was available on how much money is guaranteed.
Huddle Up: LaFell hit career highs with 49 receptions and 5 TDs last season in Carolina and now figures to be nor worse than Tom Brady's No. 3 or 4 top target (behind TE Rob Gronkowski, WR Julian Edelman and RB Shane Vereen).

The Carolina Panthers likely will allow impending free-agent WR Brandon LaFell and CB Captain Munnerlyn to test the free-agent this offseason. The team could look to re-sign both to shorter, team-friendly deals at some point.
Huddle Up: LaFell, a 3rd-round pick in 2010, hit career highs with 49 catches (for 627 yards) and 5 TDs, but it sounds like the Panthers would rather bring back Ted Ginn Jr. and add another wideout rather than look for more improvement out of LaFell.
