Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier indicated the team is
still considering the possibility of moving QB Joe Webb to another
position. '[Webb] is such a talented athlete that we want to make
sure that we're doing the right thing by him and our team, as well,'
Frazier said. 'That's something we'll continue to discuss as we go
forward.'
Huddle Up: Webb originally was classified as a wide receiver during his rookie
season of 2010, but only has one career NFL catch. Still his
uninspiring 11-for-30, 180-yard showing in a wild-card loss to the
Packers this past winter displayed the limited upside Webb has a
quarterback.

The Minnesota Vikings will be looking for quarterbacks to compete with QB Joe Webb to the backup position for QB Christian Ponder this offseason. Free-agent QBs Derek Anderson (Panthers), Matt Moore (Dolphins), David Carr (Giants), Matt Leinart (Raiders), Byron Leftwich (Steelers), Bruce Gradkowski (Bengals), Jason Campbell (Bears) and Rex Grossman (Redskins) are options.
Huddle Up: Sounds like a who's who of journeymen, has-beens and never-weres, but the Vikes definitely need a backup who is more of a passing threat.
