The Cincinnati Bengals will not match the offer sheet from the Cleveland Browns for WR Andrew Hawkins.
Huddle Up: Hawkins, who missed half of the 2013 season due to an ankle injury, will give the Browns and whomever their QB is a legit weapon out of the slot if he's fully healthy. He had a career year (51-533-4 TDs) in 2012.

The Cincinnati Bengals are unlikely to match the offer sheet to WR Andrew Hawkins from the Cleveland Browns after seeing how the offer sheet was structured.
Huddle Up: Hawkins, who had a career-low 12 catches for 199 yards in an injury-shortened 2013 season, could fill the slot WR role for the Browns, who released Davone Bess earlier this offseason.

The Cincinnati Bengals activated WR Andrew Hawkins (ankle) from the Injured Reserve/Recall list and re-signed DE DeQuin Evans to the practice squad. Hawkins could become a third wide receiver option behind WRs A.J. Green and Marvin Jones in the team's Week 9 game Thursday, Oct. 31, against the Miami Dolphins with WR Mohamed Sanu (shoulder) questionable for the game. Hawkins was third on the team last year in receptions (51) and receiving yards (533).
Huddle Up: Hawkins gives the Bengals depth at receiver, especially with Sanu banged up. Don't look for too much right out of the gate, but Hawkins should settle into a slot role in Cincy.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Andrew Hawkins (ankle) is not wearing a boot or cast on his injured ankle and believes he is ahead of schedule. Hawkins is still a candidate for the Injured Reserve/Designated to Return list.
Huddle Up: Hawkins, who was third on the team with 51 catches for 533 and 4 TDs last season, has missed all of the preseason, and if he goes on the IR/DTR list, he won't be able to play until Week 8 at the earliest, wiping out more than half of the fantasy season.

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said WR Andrew Hawkins (ankle) is a candidate to be placed on the Injured Reserve/Designated to Return list. Hawkins will wear a cast on his ankle for 10 days and then the team will determine the next course of action.
Huddle Up: Hawkins injured his left ankle just over a week ago and it was originally thought to be a high sprain but if he lands on the short-term IR list it could be something more serious. Being placed on the Injured Reserve/Designated to Return list means Hawkins wouldn't be eligible to play until after Week 8. He doesn't warrant any fantasy consideration until later in the season..

Cincinnati Bengals WR Andrew Hawkins (ankle) is not expected to miss more than 2 weeks because the ankle injury he suffered during practice Thursday, Aug. 1. Hawkins was carted off the field and is not expected to travel with the team to Atlanta for joint practices and a preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Huddle Up: The cat-quick Hawkins was solid in finishing as the 3rd-leading receiver for Cincy a year ago, notching 51 catches for 533 yards and 4 TDs in 14 games. This is his 3rd year with the squad so missing a preseason contest or two shouldn't throw him off his game.
