Seattle Seahawks unrestricted free-agent CB Brandon Browner announced Tuesday, March 4, that he has been reinstated into the league after his suspension.

Seattle Seahawks CB Brandon Browner is facing another suspension for violating league policy, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. This suspension is for violating of the league's substance-abuse policy. Browner also missed the final four games of last season for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy. The suspension will end Browner's career with the team, according to a source. His contract expires at season's end.
Huddle Up: The suspensions keep piling up for Seattle DBs as Walter Thurmond and now Browner are facing bans. The Browner news cuts even deeper with the starting CB and the team now expected to part ways, and the team is working out free-agent CBs Marcus Trufant, Antoine Winfield and Perrish Cox. In the meantime, the Seattle D remains strong, but expect some cracks to start showing in one of the league's top secondaries.

CB Brandon Browner and S Earl Thomas had interceptions and the Seattle defense recorded seven sacks -- with 8 different players contributing -- Thursday, Oct. 17 in a 34-22 win over the host Arizona Cardinals.
Huddle Up: It wasn't the 58-0 drubbing of last season, but the Seahawks' D once again came up big against the Cards. The performance could've been a lot better as Browner tripped returning his interception and was touched down at the 1-yard line and, earlier, a Golden Tate punt-return TD was nullified by a penalty.
