Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (concussion) is inactive Sunday, Jan. 4, for the wild-card playoff game.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (concussion) is listed as doubtful for the team's Wild Card game against the Indianapolis Colts Sunday, Jan. 4, after he sat out of practice Friday, Jan. 2.
Huddle Up: Cincy was hoping Green would be able to practice Friday, but it sounds like the concussion symptoms are lingering and have put the Pro Bowl WR's Sunday status in serious jeopardy. If Green can't go, Mohamed Sanu, Brandon Tate, Greg Little, Cobi Hamilton and James Wright would comprise Andy Dalton's WR corps Sunday in Indy.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (concussion) is still in the concussion protocol but was able to participate in warmups, stretching and installation of the offense during practice Thursday, Jan. 1. Green is scheduled to meet with a neurologist Friday, Jan. 2, and hopes to receive clearance to play.
Huddle Up: See what happens Friday, and if Green is somehow not cleared, Mohamed Sanu will be Cincy's No. 1 WR Sunday in Indy.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (arm) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 26, and is listed as probable for Week 17.

Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (arm) said Monday, Dec. 22, that he feels he'll be ready to play in the Week 17 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Huddle Up: Green returned to the Monday night game after suffering the injury, though he did not record a catch. At minimum he'll be on the field as a downfield threat against the Steelers; Bengals fans have to hope he'll be substantially more than that.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (arm) was able to check back into the Week 16 game against the Denver Broncos in the second quarter after having precautionary X-rays in the locker room. Green was targeted four times and finished wihtout a catch.
Huddle Up: Green suffered an arm bruise after taking a hard shot to arm on the fourth play of the game and it seemed to hamper him the rest of the game. A tough break/bad timing for Green's fantasy owners who now will have to monitor the WR's practice status on a short week.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe), who has missed the last three games with an injured big toe on his right foot, is expected to play, according to head coach Marvin Lewis. 'If everything stays the way it is, he'll play,' Lewis said. Green has practiced all week and hasn't shown any setbacks.
Huddle Up: Green owners can prepare to have him back in their lineups following a 3-game absence, but be wary that the WR could re-aggravate the injury at any time.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) was limited in practice for the second straight day Thursday, Oct. 30.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) returned to practice on a limited basis Wednesday, Oct. 29. Green said he feels good, and he'll try to do more Thursday, Oct. 30. It looks more promising that he'll play in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and if he does, he's unlikely to limit his number of snaps. Green did position-specific drills Wednesday and ran some routes, and he didn't favor his right big toe. However, he has been told to expect to play through some level of pain for the rest of the season. Green said trainers may tape up his foot a bit, but he isn't planning on wearing different shoes or wearing inserts for cushioning.
Huddle Up: We won't know if Green is going to play until probably Sunday. If he's active, owners should obviously have Green in their lineup. It's likely going to come down to an hour before kickoff before we know Green's Week 9 status for certain.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) said Sunday, Oct. 26, that he felt 'about 80 percent' after feeling '40 percent last week.' Green said he has not had any soreness after working out.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) is not expected to play in Week 8, because he has ligament damage under his toe. The team wants to be careful with him since the injury has lingered.
Huddle Up: The Bengals aren't going to rush their star receiver back before he's ready. Green won't play this week against the Ravens and could miss Week 9 as well.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) is not practicing Friday, Oct. 24. It's the third straight day he has missed practice, making it unlikely that he'll be able to play in Week 8. He is officially listed as doubtful.
Huddle Up: There was optimism earlier in the week, but barring a surprising announcement Sunday morning, it looks as if Cincy's No. 1 wideout will miss a third straight game.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) sat out of practice for the second straight day Thursday, Oct. 23.
Huddle Up: Just the daily update on Green who is hoping to return after a 2-game absence. It's looking rather iffy at the moment, but see what the prognosis is coming out of Friday's workout.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) wasn't feeling good enough to return to practice Wednesday, Oct. 22. Head coach Marvin Lewis said Green won't play in Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens unless he's 'significantly healed,' but left the door open for Green to play. "It's hard for me to put a guy out there Sunday that I don't think can last a full game," Lewis said. "If we have A.J. for part of the game doing certain things, that would be great. I think we could operate offensively, and I guess we'll cross that bridge when the time comes."
Huddle Up: A few days ago, Green sounded determined to return this week after a 2-game absence but his nagging foot issue might have other ideas. His Week 8 status is very much still to be decided by his progress -- or lack of it -- the next few days.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) said he will play Sunday, Oct. 26, against the Baltimore Ravens, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.
Huddle Up: Welcome news for the fantasy GMs who have been without Green over the last 2 games. Double that considering the opponent as Green has caught 18 passes for 343 yards and 3 TDs in his last 3 games against the Ravens, including a 6-131-1 showing in last month's season opener.

Green will miss his second straight start in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts. He has been around the team all week but hasn't participated in any practices. Green has 17 catches for 314 yards and two touchdowns this year.
Huddle Up: Meanwhile, the WR2 opportunities continue for Mohamed Sanu, who has caught a combined 15 passes for 190 yards and 2 TDs the last 2 games and has had a scoring grab in 3 of Cincy's last 4 contests.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) is not present during practice Wednesday, Oct. 15.
Huddle Up: The door isn't completely closed yet, but most all signs are pointing toward another week of street clothes for Green.

Updating previous reports, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) will not play in Week 7 due to his toe injury.
Huddle Up: As expected, Green won't play this week. Mohamed Sanu will once again be a target monster against the Colts.

Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) is expected to miss a second consecutive game in Week 7, but he is not expected to require surgery. Green is scheduled to see a doctor Friday, Oct. 17.
Huddle Up: Green's fantasy owners should continue to implement whatever Plan B they've been using in his absence, but the news that he won't need surgery suggests a return this season--hopefully at a level at or near where he was producing prior to suffering the injury.

Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) will not play in the Week 6 game against the Carolina Panthers, a source said Friday, Oct. 10. Green was wearing a walking boot on his right foot during a morning walkthrough Friday. Officially, he is listed as questionable.
Huddle Up: Green owners will have to go with another option, while Mohamed Sanu will be the Bengals No. 1 receiver this week against Carolina. Sanu will be a WR3/4 this week with Green out.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) will not play in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers, according to sources. Green had his right foot in a walking boot Friday, Oct. 10, during the team's walkthrough. Head coach Marvin Lewis said Green's injury was 'a little more than' turf toe Thursday. Green, however, will not need surgery.
Huddle Up: As fully expected, Green will sit Sunday. Marvin Jones (ankle) also will be out, leaving Mohamed Sanu, Brandon Tate and Dane Sanzenbacher atop the WR depth chart. That likely means for more emphasis on the ground game for Cincy, and lowered fantasy expectations for QB Andy Dalton.

Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) could potentially miss multiple games after aggravating his big toe injury in practice Wednesday, Oct. 8. Green had an MRI Wednesday, and he will meet with a foot specialist Thursday, Oct. 9.
Huddle Up: The Bengals just had their bye so there isn't a built-in opportunity for Green to rest his toe. He'd been playing through the injury, but now the team needs to determine if shutting him down for a couple weeks will help down the road.
Posted: 10/8/2014 2:02pm et
Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) left practice early Wednesday, Oct. 8, after apparently aggravating his toe injury during warmups.
Huddle Up: Uh oh -- definitely something to monitor with the WR having been hampered by the issue and essentially missing the Week 2 win over the Falcons last month. He's played in all 3 games since and has had a bye week, but he might not be out of the woods yet.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (foot) said he feels good Friday, Sept. 19, and is ready to play in Week 3.
Huddle Up: An in-game re-aggravation is certainly at risk again here, but as one of fantasy's top WRs, Green's clearly a must-start if he's playing.
Posted: 9/18/2014 3:52pm et
Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (foot) is likely to play in Week 3, according to head coach Marvin Lewis.
Huddle Up: The stud wideout reportedly returned to practice Thursday, and it's sounding like he might try and give it a go Sunday against the Titans. However, that's a mixed bag for fantasy owners as there's the risk the WR could always re-aggravate the injury and depart at any time -- a la Week 2 -- and leave his owners short in the fantasy points department.
Posted: 9/17/2014 6:20pm et
Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) sat out practice Wednesday, Sept. 17, but will try to practice Thursday, Sept. 18. He said he hopes to be able to play Week 3. He said his injury is like turf toe but not as bad. He is not worried about the injury lingering.
Huddle Up: Green's fantasy owners are certainly banking on the WR being right as the injury from last week did flare up early in the game last Sunday and resulted in a zero in the fantasy-points column. Definitely monitor how things go Thursday and Friday.
Posted: 9/15/2014 8:53pm et
Updating previous reports, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (foot) underwent an MRI on his injury, which came back negative. If he is not able to play Week 3, he should be ready after the team's Week 4 bye.
Huddle Up: Reason says the looming bye likely will lead to the Bengals giving the standout WR an extra week of rest and recovery, but see what the tone coming out of Cincy is during the week.

Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) suffered a turf toe injury in the Week 2 game against the Atlanta Falcons, a league source said Sunday, Sept. 14. He left early and was unable to return. It is uncertain how much time he will miss.
Huddle Up: Green's status will be updated later in the week but there's a chance he could be out against Tennessee, so owners need to be prepared with other options.
Posted: 9/12/2014 2:52pm et
Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (foot) was back at practice Friday, Sept. 12, after being held out as a precaution Thursday, Sept. 11. Head coach Marvin Lewis said Green will play in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons.
Huddle Up: Have no real concerns about Green who has a juicy matchup against an Atlanta pass defense that surrendered 333 passing yards to the Saints in Week 1.
Posted: 9/11/2014 2:39pm et
Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (foot) is not taking part in practice Thursday, Sept. 11.
Huddle Up: This would seem to be a step back for Green who was limited Wednesday, but it could also be a mid-week precautionary measure as well. If he's out again Friday, though, then we might have a situation.
Posted: 8/5/2014 11:18am et
Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green was texted by head coach Marvin Lewis over the weekend to have Green's agent initiate contract extension talks.
Huddle Up: The Bengals just locked up Andy Dalton; makes sense to lock up his top target as well.
