Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green caught 3 passes for 34 yards Sunday, Jan. 5 in a 27-10 wild-card playoff loss to the San Diego Chargers.
Huddle Up: Chalk it up as a puzzling off-day for Green, who was double-teamed most of the game and was targeted 9 times. but never seemed to be a vital part of the Cincy game plan and finished well behind leading WR Marvin Jones (8-130). Green remains one of the game's elite WRs, but there are going to be games like this, especially as long as the streaky Andy Dalton is quarterbacking the Bengals.

Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (knee) was limited in practice Thursday, Jan. 2.

New York Jets CB Antonio Cromartie will likely have the task of covering Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green in Week 8. 'Put his hands on him and pray,' said Jets defensive coordinator Dennis Thurman. Green has 619 yards, 43 catches and five touchdowns through seven weeks. Last week against the New England Patriots, Cromartie allowed only one catch for 25 yards, but that came after three weeks where opposing quarterbacks had a rating over 100 against him.
Huddle Up: After a lull in Weeks 2-5 in which he never topped 61 receiving yards, Green has come on strong over the past 2 games with a combined 12 catches for 258 yards and 2 TDs and remains a must-start no matter who he's facing.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green was targeted 14 times but caught only 6 passes for 41 yards and failed to score Monday, Sept. 16 in a 20-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers .
Huddle Up: Green was coming off a 9-catch, 162-yard, 2-TD effort in Week 1, but the Steelers and CB Ike Taylor are a little more familiar with Green than the Bears' defense. Chalk it up as an off night and look for Green to bounce back next Sunday against the Packers' suspect secondary.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green posted nine receptions for 162 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 1 loss against the Chicago Bears. The yardage total was the most by a Bengals receiver in a season opener, and it was the 10th time in franchise history that a receiver posted at least 100 yards. Head coach Marvin Lewis said after the game that Green suffered a finger injury at one point, but he is fine. Green had fingers taped during the game.
Huddle Up: Green was facing one of the better pass defenses in the league, and while Charles Tillman did come away with a couple picks and the win Green more than held his own in the battle. Bodes well for Green's prospects going forward.

Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (knee) could practice on a limited basis Wednesday, Aug. 14.
Huddle Up: It's all small steps at this point as the Bengals don't want to rush the Pro Bowl wideout, who ranked fourth overall among all fantasy WRs in 2012.

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said WR A.J. Green (knee) will not be traveling with the team to Atlanta for join practices and a preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (knee) had his left knee looked at after his awkward fall during practice Thursday, July 25. He left practice early but did not appear to be in pain or have a limp when leaving the field.
Huddle Up: Doesn't sound like anything too serious from just this report, but knees are tricky and something could reveal itself later. Stay on top of this, and Green's fantasy owners need to hang on every word.
