San Diego Chargers QB Philip Rivers has been able to trust WR Vincent Brown on contested catches this season. 'I've thrown Vincent Brown a bunch of those balls,' Rivers said. 'It's trusting that he's going to come in there, and he's going to go up high and make a good, tough, catch.'
Huddle Up: Brown, who is tied for third on the team with 37 targets and 26 catches, was a much-discussed comeback candidate but first Eddie Royal and now rookie Keenan Allen have moved ahead of him on the Bolts' fantasy food chain, making him hard to trust in any given week.

San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Brown (hamstring) was back in full pads and participated in practice Tuesday, Aug. 6.
Huddle Up: This was a glimmer of good news for the Bolts on a day in which they saw projected starter Danario Alexander go down with a season-ending ACL tear. If he can remain healthy himself, Brown figures to be the front-runner to replace Alexander in the starting lineup.

San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Brown (hamstring) has missed six straight practices and is unlikely to play in the first preseason game.
Huddle Up: Hammy issues and early August go hand-in-hand, but the longer Brown uis sidelined, the more time fantasy GMs have to nitpick the WR's resume and realize he hasn't played in 18 out of a possible 32 games over his 2 NFL seasons.

San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Brown (hamstring) is not practicing Thursday, July 1, and is limited to mental reps because of a hamstring issue.
Huddle Up: More than a few fantasy GMs continue to rave about Brown's potential, but keep in mind the WR's lingering health issues and (most definitely) his limited sample size: 19 catches in 14 games played -- only 4 of them starts -- in 2 pro seasons.

San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Brown did not participate in practice Saturday, July 27, because of a hamstring injury. The team believes the injury is minor.
Huddle Up: The issue with Brown has been his inability to stay on the field, so it's frustratingly familiar to see him on the sidelines. Here's hoping the team is correct and it's a minor issue.

San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Brown is rotating with the starters during organized team activities. Brown, who was expected to have an expanded role in the offense in 2012 before missing the 2012 season with a broken ankle, is expected to have an expanded role in 2013.
Huddle Up: So long as Brown can stay healthy, he should be a high priority in the San Diego receiver rotation. If you can get him at a value--that is, something less than where the hype was pushing him last season--he's an intriguing fantasy sleeper.

San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Brown (ankle) is expected to be a major focal point on offense this season. He was building a strong chemistry with QB Philip Rivers before his injury, and the two are expected to work on their chemistry during training camp.
Huddle Up: Brown, a third-round pick in 2011, sure has generated a lot of fantasy hype for a wideout who has all of 4 starts and 19 catches in 2 years after missing the entire 2012 campaign. Still, questions abound with the Chargers' receiving corps, and Brown could easily find himself starting with a strong, injury-free training camp.

The San Diego Chargers are taking things slowly with WR Vincent Brown during organized team activities because he is working his way back from a serious ankle injury. He said he is completely recovered from the injury but understands why the team is being cautious. He expects to be ready for the start of training camp.
Huddle Up: Brown was a popular sleeper pick heading into last season, and if he's on the field at the start of training camp he'll likely be in a similar situation as the San Diego receiver rotation remains unsettled.
