San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Brown (calf) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Sunday, Aug. 31, after he was waived/injured Saturday, Aug. 30.
Huddle Up: Stunning development for a wideout with tons of potential and an equally impressive injury history. Looks like those waiting for Brown to finally live up to the hype can now circle 2015 on their calendar.

Updating a previous report, San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Brown (calf) was placed on no-recall waivers with a waived/injured designation Saturday, Aug. 30.
Huddle Up: A former third-round pick, Brown was never the same after an ankle injury cost him the 2012 season. Last year Brown caught 41 passes for 472 yards and one score. Brown is off the fantasy radar regardless of where he ends up.

San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Brown (calf) wore a protective boot Thursday, July 31, after sitting out the team's last five practices.
Huddle Up: Brown needs to find a way past this injury and get back on the field as he's fighting for a spot in the Bolts' regular WR rotation after his ho-hum 41-472-1 season a year ago.

San Diego Chargers QB Philip Rivers has been able to trust WR Vincent Brown on contested catches this season. 'I've thrown Vincent Brown a bunch of those balls,' Rivers said. 'It's trusting that he's going to come in there, and he's going to go up high and make a good, tough, catch.'
Huddle Up: Brown, who is tied for third on the team with 37 targets and 26 catches, was a much-discussed comeback candidate but first Eddie Royal and now rookie Keenan Allen have moved ahead of him on the Bolts' fantasy food chain, making him hard to trust in any given week.
