Jacksonville Jaguars RBs Storm Johnson and Denard Robinson will split first- and second-down snaps in the Week 7 game against the Cleveland Browns, while RB Jordan Todman will handle third-down duties with RB Toby Gerhart (foot) ruled out for a second straight game.
Huddle Up: The Jaguars backfield is a fantasy mess right now and should be avoided by owners at all costs. Not to mention that Jacksonville has arguably the worst offensive line in the NFL as well.

Jacksonville Jaguars RBs Toby Gerhart, Denard Robinson, Jordan Todman and Storm Johnson have all shared carries in the backfield. The team ranks 31st in the league in rushing, averaging just 67 yards per game. Johnson is the wild card in the backfield, as he ran four times for a team-high 27 yards in his debut in Week 5. "It's not surprising to me," head coach Gus Bradley said. "I mentioned two weeks ago he had a good practice. Last week he had a good week, and it's that trust and he's building trust. For him to go in there and perform and really capture his opportunity was pretty cool to see. ... The runs he had were very impressive." Johnson reinjured his ankle last Week, but he's expected to be fine for Week 6 against the Tennessee Titans.
Huddle Up: Although none of the 4 backs are startable right now, that could change if one separates himself from the group. Given that we've already seen a pretty strong sample size from Gerhart, Robinson and Todman, the 7th-round pick Johnson is the best bet for a breakout.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Toby Gerhart is expected to be spelled by RBs Jordan Todman, Denard Robinson and Storm Johnson so he doesn't reach the 300-carry plateau.
Huddle Up: 300 carries works out to a shade under 19 a game, so Jacksonville must be looking to give Gerhart something in the 15-18 range--plus a handful of receptions as well. He'll still get the vast majority of opportunities in Jacksonville, but if you were hoping for 20-25 a game you may be disappointed.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Jordan Todman is viewed as a change-of-pace back, along with RB Denard Robinson, according to offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch. 'Those two guys are truly change-of-pace backs,' Fisch said. 'Jordan really intrigues us with his burst, speed and acceleration.'
Huddle Up: Todman garnered some fantasy notoriety last season with his out-of- nowhere, 153-yard total-yard outing during the fantasy playoffs. He figures to be the main backup to Toby Gerhart, who's heading into uncharted territory as a team's unquestioned No. 1 starter.

Jacksonville Jaguars RBs Denard Robinson and Jordan Todman are expected to compete for the No. 2 running back job during training camp.
Huddle Up: Looks like the Jags are settling on a position for the athletic Robinson. Either he or Todman will be the change-of-pace back to Toby Gerhart in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Jordan Todman signed his $645,000 ERFA tender on Thursday, April 17, and he will return to the team.
Huddle Up: Todman could wind up as Jacksonville's change of pace back to Toby Gerhart, as the Jaguars currently have few other options on their roster.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (hamstring) was limited is expected to start in Week 17 against the Indianapolis Colts after being limited in practice Thursday, Dec. 26, and RB Jordan Todman will likely go back to the kick returner role.
Huddle Up: Jones-Drew will get the majority of carries with Todman sprinkled in like he has been throughout the year. Jones-Drew is a low-end RB2/flex play for owners still going in Week 17.
