Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning said he hopes the team re-signs free-agent WR Brandon Stokley.
Huddle Up: Manning, of course, only has good things to say about his long-time target, but there's simply no room for Stokley now that Wes Welker is on board in the Mile High City.

The Tennessee Titans visited with free-agent WRs Brandon Stokley (Broncos) and Kevin Walter (Texans) on Tuesday, March 26.
Huddle Up: Stokley had the better 2012 season with 45 catches for 544 yards and 5 TDs to Walter's 41-518-2, but Stokley also had QB Peyton Manning and will be 5 years older than Walter (37-32) by the time the 2013 season rolls around.

Denver Broncos WR Brandon Stokley (hip) is active for Thursday night's Week 14
game against the Oakland Raiders. Meanwhile, the team declared QB Caleb
Hanie, OG Chris Kuper, FB Jacob Hester, TE Julius Thomas, DL Sealver Siliga,
CB Tracy Porter, LB Wesley Woodyard inactive.
Huddle Up: Stokley should see some passes thrown his way, but how many is in question with
Peyton Manning possessing plenty of other, healthier options. Bottom line: Stokley
is active if you need him, but it's definitely a move that comes with some real risk.

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos WR Brandon Stokley appears likely to miss his second consecutive game in Week 14 against the Oakland Raiders Thursday, Dec. 6. Officially, he is listed as questionable.
Huddle Up: No surprise here, as Stokley was unable to go on Sunday and it's a short week to get ready for Thursday's game with the Raiders. Jacob Tamme saw plenty of work out of the slot in Stokley's absence and will likely do so again, making him a nice play in TE-mandatory leagues and even combo WR/TE leagues--especially those with a PPR element.

Broncos WR Brandon Stokley (hip) was limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 5, and is questionable for the team's Week 14 game.
Huddle Up: Stokley, who sat out Week 13, is trying to come back on a short week. Check back Thursday evening, and if the veteran slot man can't go, expect more two-TE looks from the Broncos with Jacob Tamme and Joel Dreessen.

Denver Broncos WR Brandon Stokley (hip) particpated in practice Tuesday, Dec. 4.
Huddle Up: Stokley is trying to get back on the field for Thursday night's game in Oakland after missing the Broncos' Week 13 win over the Bucs. He ranks third on the team with 449 receiving yards and 5 TDs, and a third of his 36 receptions and 2 of his 5 scoring catches have come in his past 3 games.

Denver Broncos WR Brandon Stokley (hip) would have been limited Monday has the team practiced. The Broncos will be on the practice field Tuesday as they prep for Thursday night's game in Oakland.
Huddle Up: The 36-year-old Stokley missed his first game of the season Sunday and is hoping that will give him the extra rest needed to return to action Thursday night in a short week. Fantasy owners, of course, will have to see how the slot receiver fares in practice Tuesday and Wednesday.

Denver Broncos WR Brandon Stokley (hip, wrist), OT Chris Clark (illness) and DE Robert Ayers (non-injury) are listed as questionable for Week 13. Stokley was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 30, while the other two did not practice.
Huddle Up: The 36-year-old Stokley, who has picked up his game with 12 catches for 161 yards and 2 TDs over the past 3 games, has been limited in practice all week but should play Sunday. Even so, he figures to be at something less than full health.

Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning completed passes to six different receivers in the Week 1 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers. 'If you're open, he's going to find you,' WR Eric Decker said. 'That's why he's so good.' Manning is steadily building a rapport with each of his receivers as he learns precisely what they can do. After one game, WR Demaryius Thomas is the big-play threat, with Decker as the possession receiver. WR Brandon Stokley appears to be the security blanket after posting several clutch third-down grabs.
Huddle Up: Stokley helped recruit Manning to the Mile High City, so it's only right that the QB help rejuvenate the wideout's career. Stokley had one reception in 2 games last season with the Giants, but he doubled that production in Week 1 alone, catching a pair of passes for 26 yards. Still Stokley is 36, and his fantasy value is limited with Thomas, Decker and TEs Jacob Tamme and Joel Dreessen all ahead of him in the Broncos' receiving hierarchy.
