Free-agent QB Jason Campbell (Bengals) is considering retirement, according to sources close to the team. Campbell has rejected multiple opportunities to sign a contract for 2015, including offers from the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens.
Huddle Up: That would leave either A.J. McCarron or Josh Johnson as the Bengals' No. 2 QB at the moment and set up a scenario where Cincy might look to use a mid- or late-round draft pick on a QB in the coming draft.

Cincinnati Bengals QB Jason Campbell (arm) was in street clothes watching practice Tuesday, Aug. 12.
Huddle Up: It sounds like Andy Dalton's backup might miss the team's second preseason game, leaving the reserve QB duties to Matt Scott and newly signed Tyler Wilson. Meanwhile, fifth-round pick A.J. McCarron remains on the PUP list with a shoulder issue, and it's unlikely he's going to see the field any time soon.

Cincinnati Bengals QB Jason Campbell suffered an arm injury in the team's first preseason game Thursday, Aug. 8, and is scheduled to undergo tests Friday.
Huddle Up: Fifth-round draft pick A.J. McCarron and vomiting sensation Matt Scott are the other QBs on the depth chart so Cincy might be inclined to add a veteran QB is Campbell's injury turns out to be serious.
