The New York Jets have activated TE Kellen Winslow from the suspended list Monday, Nov. 11. The team also waived FS Rontez Miles.
Huddle Up: Winslow hasn't seen action since Week 5 but was productive when he did play, recording 17 catches for 169 yards and a pair of scores in 5 outings. His return could coincide with that of WR Santonio Holmes, giving Geno Smith's pass-catching corps a dual boost.

New York Jets TE Kellen Winslow is expected to be activated from the suspended list after the team's bye in Week 10. The club has a roster exemption until Monday, Nov. 11, at 4pm ET.
Huddle Up: Fellow TE Jeff Cumberland also is expected back from injury in Week 11, so the Jets suddenly could have a full complement of TEs.

New York Jets TE Kellen Winslow has been suspended four games for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
Huddle Up: Winslow's up-and-down career has hit another downer as the Jets' leading pass-catcher (17 receptions-169 yards-2 TDs) will sit the next month. In the meantime, those looking for a fill-in TE could do a lot worse than Winslow's teammate Jeff Cumberland, who has gone 4-113-2 over the past 2 games.

New York Jets TE Kellen Winslow did not participate during practice Monday, Aug. 5, for the third consecutive day. Head coach Rex Ryan said Winslow is not injured, and the team is following the schedule scripted by the trainers.
Huddle Up: Strange situation, and if Winslow isn't injured what's this about a trainers' schedule? Winslow, who turned 30 last month, has had trouble with his knees in recent seasons, and they could be acting up again.

New York Jets TE Kellen Winslow has set a goal of catching 100 passes in 2013.
Huddle Up: A guy's gotta dream, right? A cool 100 catches would be 11 more than Winslow's career best, which came seven years ago in Cleveland; it would also be 99 more than he recorded last season. But hey, Winslow is working out at Jets West with Mark Sanchez so anything is possible.

The New York Jets have signed free-agent TE Kellen Winslow to a one-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed. Winslow is expected to be a candidate for the starting tight end job during training camp because of his past success.
Huddle Up: Winslow hasn't had much left in the tank in his most recent NFL stops, and it's unlikely the combination of Geno Smith and Mark Sanchez is what he needs for one last season in the sun.

New York Jets TE Kellen Winslow reportedly didn't stand out as much Wednesday, June 12, at his minicamp tryout as opposed to his performance Tuesday, June 11, but he likely has done enough to receive a contract offer from the team.
Huddle Up: It doesn't take much to be a standout in the Jets' passing game, and apparently K2 showed enough for Gang Green to take a shot. Last year's offense did seem to frequently find the now-departed Dustin Keller, and with the Jets' top wideouts banged up perhaps Winslow will become a favored target of Geno Smith and/or Mark Sanchez.

Free-agent TE Kellen Winslow will participate in the New York Jets' upcoming minicamp on a tryout basis.
Huddle Up: Not sure how much, if any, tread is left on Winslow's tires but the Jets could use someone to replace Dustin Keller--especially with both Santonio Holmes and Stephen Hill nursing injuries. For now consider him a faint blip on the fantasy radar.

Cleveland Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski said he has not had any conversations with free-agent TE Kellen Winslow (Seahawks) about returning, but he didn't discount the notion either. 'Not specifically with him coming back but I've kept in touch with Kellen over time. Obviously, I've known him and been close with him for a long time,' Chudzinski said.
Huddle Up: Winslow had 3 straight seasons with at least 66 catches and 730 yards in Tampa from 2009-11 but fell off the map last season after getting cut in camp by the Seahawks. If he does revive his career this season, Cleveland would seem to be a likely candidate.

Free-agent TE Kellen Winslow (Patriots) said the Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers are interested in him. The Browns later refuted that report.
Huddle Up: After 3 consecutive seasons with with 66 or more receptions with the Bucs, Winslow fell off the map last season, getting released in the preseason by the Seahawks and then catching only one pass in a short stint with the Pats. Winslow, who turns 30 in July, is looking for a last hurrah and could prove to be a decent No. 2 TE addition as long as he enters the new situation with tempered expectations.
