Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens DT Haloti Ngata's MRI revealed that he has a sprained medial collateral ligament. Ngata will not need surgery on his knee.
Huddle Up: Good news for Ngata and the Ravens; Baltimore's defense will lose Ray Lewis and possibly Ed Reed this offseason, so they could ill afford to lose Ngata for any length of time as well.

Baltimore Ravens DT Haloti Ngata suffered a sprained knee in Super Bowl XLVII and did not return. After the game, Ngata said that doctors were unsure if any ligaments had been torn.
Huddle Up: There's no rush for a diagnosis, unless there is in fact significant damage in which case Ngata needs to start the rehab clock as soon as possible. Let Haloti enjoy his parade and deal with the medical issues in the days that follow.

Baltimore Ravens DT Haloti Ngata (shoulder) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 2, and is questionable for Week 9. WR LaQuan Williams (ankle) fully participated in practice and is questionable.
Huddle Up: Ngata was limited in Wednesday's practice and was unable to go Thursday and Friday and that only adds to the concern on a Ravens' defensive until that's already reeling. Start the Ravens' D if you must, but be wary against an improving Browns offense.

Baltimore Ravens DT Haloti Ngata (shoulder) and CB Jimmy Smith (abdominal) were both limited in practice Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Huddle Up: With Ray Lewis and Ladarius Webb already gone for the season, the Ravens can ill afford to be without these 2. Keep an eye on their status the rest of the week.

Baltimore Ravens DL Haloti Ngata (hamstring) returned to practice
Friday, Aug 3.
Huddle Up: Ray Lewis and Ed Reed are bigger names, but the Ravens' defensive
success starts up front with the 6-foot-4, 350-pound Ngata, who a
season ago helped the team rank second in the league in rushing
yards allowed per game.

Baltimore Ravens DT Haloti Ngata (hamstring) has been placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list after injuring his hamstring during a conditioning test.
Huddle Up: You can come off Camp PUP anytime. Hopefully it's not a tear because after losing Terrell Suggs (Achilles') it would be a crushing blow to their defense.
