The Tennessee Titans are expected to get the ball to TE Delanie Walker more often during the 2014 NFL season.
Huddle Up: Wright hit career highs with 60 receptions, 571 yards and 6 scoring catches this past season when he finished as a low-end fantasy TE1, and figures to move up a peg or two in that group if these expectations are to be believed.

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (concussion) did not practice Friday, Dec. 6, and is questionable for Week 14.
Huddle Up: Yeah, he officially has a 50 percent chance of playing but that's a lot of faith to put in a less-than-top-tier fantasy TE who hasn't practiced all week. The Titans also have a late-afternoon Sunday kickoff so line up another option ASAP.

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak said the injury to TE Delanie Walker (concussion) early in Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts affected the team's passing offense. 'All of a sudden, they can put more attention on Kendall (Wright), on Nate (Washington), on our other receivers, which they couldn't have done before,' Munchak said. TE Taylor Thompson played 72 of 75 offensive snaps as a result with TE Craig Stevens (concussion) also out.
Huddle Up: Walker had been coming on strong with 19 catches for 199 yards and 2 TDs in the 3 games prior to getting injured in Week 13, and he'll have some concussion-protocol hurdles to clear this week. In the meantime, the team has signed free-agent TE Visanthe Shiancoe (Ravens) as a contingency.

The Tennessee Titans may look to sign a fullback and a tight end this week because of injuries to TE Delanie Walker (concussion), FB Collin Mooney (knee) and TE Craig Stevens (concussion).
Huddle Up: Walker's late-season momentum -- 19 catches, 199 yards, 2 TDs in Weeks 10-12 -- was curtailed by the head injury, and we'll have to see how Walker progresses throughout the week.

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker had a career-high 10 catches for 91 yards and a touchdown in the team's Week 11 loss to the Indianapolis Colts Thursday, Nov. 14.
Huddle Up: Walker is an up-and-comer at TE, finding the end zone in 3 of his past 4 games and notching 19 receptions for 218 yards over that span. Look for Ryan Fitzpatrick to continue to look his way.

Updating a previous report, the Tennessee Titans placed TE Delanie Walker on the Physically Unable to Perform list Wednesday, July 24. He recently had his knee scoped. Indications are Walker could still take part in preseason games later in August after a complete recovery.
Huddle Up: The Titans are counting on Walker stepping in for the departed Jared Cook, so obviously they'd like to get him back on the field sooner rather than later.

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker had an MRI Monday, June 3, and head coach Mike Munchak was scheduled to see the results late Tuesday, June 4. "It's just soreness," Munchak said Tuesday. "It's probably from him having a long season and not having as much time off as the rest of them. But he's fine."
Huddle Up: The Titans don't seem particularly worried about Walker's knee, and since it's only June you shouldn't be either. If he's still hobbled when training camp opens, then go ahead and hit the panic button.

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (knee) likely will undergo an MRI if his knee is still bothering him Monday, June 3. He said he injured his knee during practice Thursday, May 30, but does not believe the injury is serious.
Huddle Up: An injury would be a cruel blow for Walker, who is finally getting his opportunity as a No. 1 TE in his 8th season in the league.

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker said he expects to be a part of the passing game this season because he will be given more of an opportunity to catch passes than he received when he was with the San Francisco 49ers. Walker said he understands he has to become a more reliable target since he dropped nine passes last season. He said he would like to catch at least 70 passes in 2013.
Huddle Up: Walker, a sixth-round pick in 2006, had the bad timing to join the Niners the same year as fellow TE Vernon Davis, the sixth-overall pick in that same draft. Renowned more for his blocking, Walker hit a career high with 29 catches for 331 yards in 2010, but now is an undisputed No. 1 TE for the first time in his 8 NFL seasons.
