Philadelphia Eagles TE Brent Celek (concussion) said he participated in practice Monday, Dec. 17, and believes he should be able to play Week 16.
Huddle Up: Celek has a decent matchup against the Redskins but most fantasy GMs playing in championship games have better options even if Celek does play.

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid said TE Brent Celek (concussion) has been cleared to return from his concussion.
Huddle Up: Just an early Week 16 FYI for those fantasy owners in desperate need of TE help.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Brent Celek (concussion) passed his concussion tests, but head trainer Rick Burkholder said there isn't enough time to pass Celek through the five-step process to return from concussions before their Week 15 game Thursday, Dec. 13.
Huddle Up: With Celek out, Clay Harbor could be a sneaky good TE pickup after catching 6 passes for 52 yards and a score this past Sunday.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Brent Celek (concussion) will miss Week 15 because of the concussion he suffered in Week 14.
Huddle Up: Bad timing for fantasy owners who will have to find another option.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Brent Celek appears likely to miss the team's Week 15 game with a concussion. Celek will have to advance through the team's five-step concussion recovery program, which includes staying symptom-free, passing an imPACT test and be cleared by an independent neurologist, before he can get back on the field. The team has a short turnaround, with their next game Thursday, Dec. 13.
Huddle Up: If the recent absences of Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy are any indication, the Eagles won't rush Celek through the concussion protocol. And with Philly playing on Thursday night, "unlikely" seems an optimistic outlook for Celek. Clay Harbor picked up the slack in Week 14 and would be in line to do the same in Week 15.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Brent Celek left in the first half of Sunday's Week 14 game with a concussion and did not return.
Huddle Up: Celek finished with 1 catch for 1 yard before the injury, and if he misses any time, Clay Harbor is more than a capable fill-in. Harbor, in fact, hauled in a fourth-quarter TD pass as Philly tried to rally.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Brent Celek (knee) said his knee is doing a lot better but does not expect to play in the first preseason game Thursday, Aug. 9. Celek did not rule out the possibility of playing in the rest of the preseason games.
Huddle Up: It's been a rough camp so far for the Eagles, who many feel have the makings of an NFC champion. The injury bug has hit hard, and then early Sunday came the shocking and sobering news that coach Andy Reid's son had been found dead in a camp dorm room. In that light, Celek's knee seems trivial, but he's a key piece of the Philly offense, finishing 2011 as the team's second-leading receiver with 62 grabs (1 behind leader Jeremy Maclin). No big deal if he misses a preseason game, but it's something to keep an eye on going forward this August.

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid said Wednesday, Aug. 1, that TE Brent Celek (knee) is getting closer to a return and the team will continue to monitor his progress daily. "The thing he can't do right now that he's got to be able to do is cut. He's doing okay," Reid said. "You saw him running the hoops over there and he is getting better but it is not quite ready to go today. We'll see here in the next couple of days here how he improves. He's taken big steps every day."
Huddle Up: Celek is sidelined with a knee injury. When healthy he can be a consistent fantasy contributor, but right now the injury has him losing ground to other mid-tier TEs like Jermaine Gresham, Brandon Pettigrew, and Greg Olsen.
