Updating a previous report, Todd France, the agent for Denver Broncos CB Aqib Talib, said his client was not arrested in Dallas Sunday, June 29. France said it was his brother that was arrested after a disturbance at a nightclub.
Huddle Up: The Broncos are breathing a big sigh of relief after shelling out big $$$ for the FA CB whose history of off-field incidents looked as if it had added another chapter a few hours earlier.

The New England Patriots may not use their franchise tag this offseason because they likely would not have the salary cap space available. Impending free-agent CB Aqib Talib would be the most likely candidate to receive the tag if used.
Huddle Up: Talib, who had 4 interceptions and 13 passes defensed this past season, is the Pats' best defensive back and look for the team to find a way to keep him around for at least another season.

New England Patriots CB Aqib Talib (knee) did not suffer any structural damage to his knee after getting hit in the AFC championship game.
Huddle Up: Talib missed most of the AFC title game for the second straight season, and the Pats have a decision to make with the CB a free agent this offseason.

New England Patriots CB Aqib Talib (hip) left the Week 11 game against the Carolina Panthers in the fourth quarter due to a hip injury.
Huddle Up: More bad news for the Pats' secondary as Talib, their top cover corner, had missed the previous 3 games with a hip issue. The team's other top top corners are also banged up with Alfonzo Dennard missing the game with a knee injury while Kyle Arrington was in and out of the contest with a groin issue. That's not the way New England wants to head into a Week 12 matchup against Peyton Manning and the Broncos' receivers.

New England Patriots CB Aqib Talib (hip) has been at practice the last two weeks on a limited basis and is progressing toward a return.
Huddle Up: Talib is the Pats' top cover man and his return will be welcomed by the team, especially with a visit by Peyton Manning and the Broncos looming Week 12.
