New England Patriots CB Aqib Talib (hip) left the Week 11 game against the Carolina Panthers in the fourth quarter due to a hip injury.
Huddle Up: More bad news for the Pats' secondary as Talib, their top cover corner, had missed the previous 3 games with a hip issue. The team's other top top corners are also banged up with Alfonzo Dennard missing the game with a knee injury while Kyle Arrington was in and out of the contest with a groin issue. That's not the way New England wants to head into a Week 12 matchup against Peyton Manning and the Broncos' receivers.

New England Patriots CB Aqib Talib (hip) has been at practice the last two weeks on a limited basis and is progressing toward a return.
Huddle Up: Talib is the Pats' top cover man and his return will be welcomed by the team, especially with a visit by Peyton Manning and the Broncos looming Week 12.

New England Patriots CB Aqib Talib (hip) is not traveling with the team for their Week 7 game.
Huddle Up: Talib won't play against the Jets but it's not a huge impact fantasy-wise considering most owners aren't starting Jets receivers this week. If you are starting Geno Smith in a two-quarterback league, the absence of Talib is an obvious plus.

New England Patriots CB Aqib Talib (hip) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 18, and is listed as doubtful for Week 7.
Huddle Up: Reports say Talib won't play on Sunday. The good news is the Jets don't really have a receiver for him to shut down anyway, so this is a good week for one of the NFL's elite corners to sit out.

New England Patriots CB Aqib Talib's (hip) injury isn't believed to be serious, but it's apparently serious enough that he's expected to sit out in Week 7. DT Tommy Kelly (knee) hasn't practiced this week and is also unlikely to play.
Huddle Up: Vince Wilfork and Jerod Mayo are done for the season, and now by far New England's best cover man Talib is hurting -- wow, this is getting a little crazy for the Pats' D. At this point, it's time to upgrade the fantasy outlooks for Geno Smith and Co. this Sunday.

New England Patriots CB Aqib Talib (hip) suffered a hip injury in the second half of the Week 6 game against the New Orleans Saints, and he is questionable to return.
Huddle Up: The word out of New England is that they don't think it's a significant injury. This is fortunate for the Patriots, who have had one of the better defenses in the league.

The New England Patriots have re-signed free-agent CB Aqib Talib to a one-year deal worth $5 million. The Patriots made a long-term offer to Talib, but Talib decided to accept their one-year offer. Talib also received interest from three other teams.
Huddle Up: With the cornerback market down a bit, Talib is hoping to turn a solid performance in 2013 into a bigger contract next offseason.

CB Aqib Talib left in the first quarter of Sunday's AFC Championship Game with what appeared to be a hamstring injury and did not return. Talib and OT Sebastian Vollmer are two of the Patriots' notable free agents heading into the offseason.
Huddle Up: In a way, Talib may have his helped his value with his absence, as QB Joe Flacco and the Ravens' WRs definitely got the better of the Pats' smallish CBs in outscoring New England, 21-0, in the second half en route to a 28-13 win.
