Chicago Bears TE Martellus Bennett had a season-high 12 catches on 15 targets for 84 yards and a score in the team's 41-28 loss to the Dallas Cowboys Thursday, Dec. 4.
Huddle Up: Perhaps getting more targets than planned with WR Brandon Marshall departing with a first-half rib injury, Bennett is having a late-season surge with 20 catches for 193 yards and a TD over the last two games and is giving his fantasy owners a huge edge at the depleted and shallow TE position.

Chicago Bears TE Martellus Bennett (foot) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 3, and is listed as probable for Week 14.
Huddle Up: Green light for Bennett's fantasy owners and good news for those relying on Jay Cutler.

Chicago Bears TE Martellus Bennett (foot) fully participated in practice Tuesday, Dec. 2.
Huddle Up: After a mini-lull, Bennett (8-109) was back over 6 catches and 100 receiving yards Sunday for the first time since Week 4. Start him with confidence in the fantasy playoffs given the dearth of dependable every-week options at the position.

Chicago Bears TE Martellus Bennett (ribs) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 7, and is listed as questionable for Week 10.
Huddle Up: Missing Friday's practice a day after participating on a limited basis is usually not a good sign, but Bennett told the Chicago Tribune on Friday that he'll "probably" play Sunday. Either way, it's not a good situation for Bennett's fantasy owners as the Bears don't play until Sunday night. Have a Plan B at the ready.

Chicago Bears TE Martellus Bennett has been reinstated following a suspension for conduct detrimental to the team. He is expected to participate in the team's afternoon practice Sunday, Aug. 10.
Huddle Up: As expected, Bennett was idled for a game after going a little overboard in a training-camp scuffle last week. In his stead, backup Zach Miller impressed with 6 catches for 68 yards and 2 TDs in Friday's win over Philly, hopefully adding to the lesson for Bennett.

Chicago Bears TE Martellus Bennett was inactive for the preseason opener against the Philadelphia Eagles Friday, Aug. 8. He is suspended indefinitely and was fined an unspecified amount, and he has not been with the team since Monday, Aug. 4.
Huddle Up: There has been no timetable set for Bennett's return. Zach Miller will handle a majority of the first-team reps while Bennett is out.

Chicago Bears TE Martellus Bennett was suspended indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team and fined an undisclosed amount after he threw rookie CB Kyle Fuller to the ground in practice Monday, Aug. 4. Bears head coach Marc Trestman ended practice 10 minutes early after the altercation.
Huddle Up: It was a rough-and-tumble Monday in Bears' camp with this incident and the broken collarbone suffered by WR Marquess Wilson. Bennett's suspension likely will run through the first preseason game and end shortly after, so there's no real fantasy concern at this point.

Chicago Bears TE Martellus Bennett and CB Kyle Fuller were involved in a heated physical altercation during a red zone drill in practice Monday, Aug. 4. Fuller tried to strip the football from Bennett and instead hooked the front of Bennett's shoulder pads which caused Bennett to fall to the ground. Bennett then leaped to his feet and proceeded to slam the rookie to the ground. He then grabbed Fuller by his facemask and launched into an expletive-laced tirade before they were separated. "I come to training camp for one reason and that's to prepare to win a championship," Bennett said later at lunch. "I play hard and go hard every single day. I'm probably one of the most violent people on the field. That's just my style of play. I'm going to continue to play the same way I always play. That's what I'm here for."
Huddle Up: Look for the first-round pick to steer clear of the veteran TE, who ranked 10th last season among all fantasy TEs with 106 points.
