New York Jets WR Chaz Schilens suffered a head injury in the team's
Week 12 game.
Huddle Up: Even before Santonio Holmes went out with a season-ending knee
injury in Week 4, the Jets' WR situation was a mess with Stephen
Hill, Jeremy Kerley, Jason Hill and Schilens dropping in and out of
the lineup and bouncing up and down on the stat sheet. If your
fantasy squad has managed to glean any kind of production out of the
quagmire, you're one of the fortunate few.

New York Jets WR Chaz Schilens will start at wide receiver in Week 5 against the Houston Texans Monday, Oct. 8, with WR Stephen Hill (hamstring) inactive. TE Jeff Cumberland is starting with TE Dustin Keller (hamstring) out again. FB Lex Hilliard and DT Kenrick Ellis will also receive starts.
Huddle Up: Already without CB Darrelle Ravis and WR Santonio Holmes, the Jets can't get a break. With the Texans' formidable defense in town, best of luck if you need to start QB Mark Sanchez tonight.

New York Jets WR Chaz Schilens (ankle) suffered an ankle injury during the preseason game Friday, Aug. 10.
Huddle Up: Injuries and Schilens go hand-in-hand as the wideout missed nearly a third (21) of a possible 64 games with the Raiders during the past four seasons. Schilens was running with the Jets' second team through the first part of camp, but another lingering ailment could allow him to be leap-frogged. In any case, he belongs on fantasy draft boards in only the deepest of leagues.
