The New York Jets signed free-agent WR Mohamed Massaquoi to an undisclosed deal.
Huddle Up: Add the underachieving Massaquoi to a group of Jets receivers who will be largely ignored, both by the Gang Green offense and by fantasy owners on draft day.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Mohamed Massaquoi could work with the first-team offense during training camp if WR Justin Blackmon is not able to practice or is limited.
Huddle Up: The Jags' passing game is already wafer-thin, and if Blackmon misses time at the start of training camp we'll get a glimpse of what Jacksonville's receiving corps will look like for the first month of the season sans the suspended Blackmon. Right now Massaquoi is the team's best option opposite Cecil Shorts.

Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell said he expects the team to use a receiver-by-committee approach while WR Justin Blackmon serves his four-game suspension. Caldwell mentioned WRs Ace Sanders, Mike X. Brown and Mohamed Massaquoi as possible members of the committee.
Huddle Up: Cecil Shorts steps into Jacksonville's WR1 role sans Blackmon, while the rookie Sanders has the most upside of those battling for the secondary role--especially in leagues where his return skills bring added fantasy value.

The Jacksonville Jaguars agreed to terms with WR Mohamed Massaquoi on a two-year contract Friday, April 5. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: The Jags are thin at wideout and Massaquoi never quite emerged as the go-to guy the Browns had hoped, so perhaps a change of scenery will do him good. That said, he'll be battling Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts for targets and catching balls from either Chad Henne or Blaine Gabbert--neither situation conducive to a spike in productivity.
