The Cincinnati Bengals franchised free-agent DE Michael Johnson. Johnson would get a one-year, $11.175 million contract if he signs his franchise tag tender.
Huddle Up: The tag should keep Johnson in Cincinnati for at least one more season, as well as buy the Bengals more time to work out a long-term deal for Johnson.
