New York Giants WRs Louis Murphy and Rueben Randle are expected to compete for the No. 3 wide receiver job during training camp.
Huddle Up: Murphy is with his 3rd team in 3 seasons, while Randle is entering his 2nd NFL season after a 19-298-3 effort as a rookie. This position will definitely have fantasy relevance with the health and contract uncertainties surrounding starter Hakeem Nicks, and this point, give the slight edge to Randle.

New York Giants WR Louis Murphy has stood out in OTAs so far. He was given plenty of deep routes in a recent workout. Head coach Tom Coughlin said he'll have a better impression of Rueben Randle after several more practice days.
Huddle Up: With Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz both unhappy with their contracts, Murphy will get plenty of reps with Eli Manning. At a minimum he looks to be in line to earn WR3 work, which has proven to be a productive fantasy role in the past. And if either Cruz or Nicks price themselves out of New York, bump Murphy up your fantasy draft board.

New York Giants general manager Jerry Reese is excited about what WR Louis Murphy can bring to the team as a speedy deep threat next season.
Huddle Up: Murphy feels like Victor Cruz insurance. If Cruz returns, Murphy is fighting Cruz, Hakeem Nicks, and Rueben Randle for snaps. Now if the Giants opt not to re-sign Cruz, or Cruz holds out, then Murphy's blip on the fantasy radar gets a little bit brighter.
