Brandon Gibson | WR | Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins WR Brandon Gibson has been working as a slot receiver during organized team activities. Gibson believes he can play the position because he can run all of the routes and get separation.
Huddle Up: The Dolphins spent a bunch of money to upgrade their passing game this offseason and are expecting big things from second-year quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Having a reliable and productive slot guy would certainly help, and Gibson won't be the opposing defense's primary concern so he should have plenty of room to operate. Still, the third option on a team that has yet to offer much in the passing game is a late-round fantasy flier at best.

Miami Dolphins WRs Brandon Gibson and Armon Binns are expected to
compete for the No. 3 wide receiver job during offseason workouts
and training camp.
Huddle Up: Gibson, who hit career highs with 691 receiving yards and 5 TDs with
the Rams last season, would seem at first glance to be the odds-on
favorite over Binns, who has 24 career receptions, but neither
figures to set the fantasy world afire playing behind Mike Wallace
and Brian Hartline in one of the league's lesser-regarded passing
attacks.

The Miami Dolphins signed free-agent WR Brandon Gibson to an undisclosed deal.
Huddle Up: Gibson joins Mike Wallace, Dustin Keller, and holdover Brian Hartline in Miami's revamped receiving corps, likely towards the bottom of the pecking order so his fantasy value will be minimal.

Free-agent WR Brandon Gibson (Rams) is meeting with the Miami
Dolphins Thursday, March 14.
Huddle Up: The Fins must be serious about this WR-upgrade thing as they've
signed Mike Wallace, re-signed Brian Hartline and still apparently
aren't done shopping. Gibson also is tentatively scheduled to visit
with the Titans this weekend as well.

Free-agent WR Brandon Gibson will visit the New York Jets Wednesday, March 13.
Huddle Up: Gibson is among the more popular second-tier receivers available in free agency, a consolation prize or bargain option for teams who miss out on Mike Wallace, Greg Jennings, Wes Welker and Danny Amendola.

The Miami Dolphins contacted the representatives for free-agent WR Brandon Gibson (Rams) to express their interest in him and the talks between the two sides are said to be serious. It is not known if their interest in Gibson would affect their pursuit of free-agent WR Mike Wallace (Steelers).
Huddle Up: This likely is an either/or situation with Gibson and Wallace as the Fins just inked WR Brian Hartline to a new deal as well.

The St. Louis Rams are interested in re-signing free-agent WR Brandon Gibson, but he will likely have a better opportunity and make more money elsewhere. The team is committed to their younger receivers, and he wouldn't likely be higher than No. 4 on the depth chart.
Huddle Up: Gibson hit career highs in yards (691) and TD catches (5) in 2012, and should latch on as a solid No. 2 wideout for some team next season.

The St. Louis Rams' pecking order at wide receiver in the first two days of camp were Brandon Gibson and Danny Amendola on the first-team, with Steve Smith mixing in as well. Greg Salas, Brian Quick and Austin Pettis were in the second rotation. Danario Alexander is still nursing a sore hamstring and was sidelined.
Huddle Up: It's mildly surprising that Smith got some first-team reps, given the fact that his left knee is trashed. Gibson doesn't get much attention in fantasy circles but if he nails down a starting spot he'll be rostered in deep leagues.
