New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (knee) said his knee is a little sore but hopes to participate in practice this week.

Huddle Up: Dorsett recorded three catches and 68 yards in Week 2 before he left because of the injury. He likely will continue to be No. 3 receiver for the Patriots for the time being and could be a flex option in deeper leagues if he is active this week.

New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (knee) posted three receptions for 68 yards in Week 2 against the Saints and he added one run for seven yards before being forced out due to a knee injury.

Huddle Up: Dorsett had his first meaningful action after being targeted just once with no catches in the opener. He is still learning the system after being acquired just a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully his knee injury isn't significant and he'll be back in there in Week 3 against the Texans.

New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (knee) suffered a knee injury in Week 2.

Huddle Up: Dorsett was serving as the No. 3 receiver for the Patriots with Danny Amendola out, but it is not known when Doresett will be able to return. Owners can avoid Dorsett even if he is able to play next week.

  • Posted: 9/6/2017 5:21pm ET

New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett could have a bigger role in the offense in Week 1 if WR Malcolm Mitchell (knee) is not able to play.

Huddle Up: Dorsett joined the team last week and probably will need more time to learn the offense. He likely will receive limited snaps if he plays in Week 1 and probably should be avoided in fantasy leagues until he has a better understanding of the offensive scheme.

  • Posted: 9/2/2017 10:58am ET

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett was acquired by the New England Patriots Saturday, Sept. 2, in exchange for QB Jacoby Brissett, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Dorsett probably will be used as a slot receiver since the team lost Julian Edelman for the season. He recorded 528 yards and two touchdowns last season but could improve on those stats with the Patriots. Dorsett probably should only be a late-round flier in fantasy leagues since the Patriots have several receiving options in their passing game.

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (hip) returned to practice this week after missing practice all of last week with a minor hip injury. Dorsett said he's been doing everything he can and believes he's been improving every day at training camp.

Huddle Up: Dorsett has been a disappointment since he entered the league. Not only may he not have Andrew Luck throwing the ball his way for a game or two, he'll need to earn targets behind T.Y. Hilton, Donte Moncrief and possibly Kamar Aiken. Dorsett is a late-round flier, but that's it.

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) could return to practice in the next few days, according to head coach Chuck Pagano.

Huddle Up: Dorsett has missed about a week because of his injury but appears close to returning. Dorsett has a good chance to be the No. 3 receiver for the Colts this season but will need to stay healthy. Owners can consider selecting Dorsett in the late rounds of drafts, but he will not be a weekly starting option.

  • Posted: 8/3/2017 8:04pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett is well behind WR Chester Rogers in the competition for the No. 3 receiver job, according to Mike Wells of ESPN.com.

Huddle Up: Being the No. 3 receiver in an offense led by Andrew Luck has its upside. If Rogers wins the gig, he will be someone to target in the later rounds of drafts.

  • Posted: 6/13/2017 8:07pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (undisclosed) did not participate in practice Tuesday, June 13, because of an undisclosed injury.

Huddle Up: Dorsett is considered one of the team's top three receivers at this point but may have to compete with Kamar Aiken for playing time. He posted 528 yards and two touchdowns in 2016 but would only be a late-round pick in deeper leagues if he receives solid playing time.

  • Posted: 2/9/2017 7:44pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett had four catches of at least 50 yards last season, but he finished with 30 receiving yards or less in eight games.

Huddle Up: Dorsett has big-play speed, but he has yet to show he can provide decent week-to-week production. He will be a late-round lottery ticket in 2017 drafts.

  • Posted: 12/18/2016 6:18pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (groin) made just one reception on his only target in the Week 15 game against the Minnesota Vikings. The good news is that the catch was 50-yard touchdown.

Huddle Up: Dorsett was nursing a groin injury heading into the game, but it certainly didn't look to be a problem on his long TD gallop. Despite the long score he doesn't see enough touches to warrant using in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/4/2016 2:14pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 4, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.

Huddle Up: Dorsett has been held to 33 yards or less in five of the last six games but was targeted five times in each of the last two games. He will receive some targets in Week 9 but should not be an option for owners.

  • Posted: 10/26/2016 1:15pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Oct. 26.

Huddle Up: Unfortunately for Dorsett, Donte Moncrief is expected to return this week. Dorsett wasn't doing much when Moncrief was out anyway, so his ideal place on fantasy rosters is on the bench.

  • Posted: 10/21/2016 10:27am ET

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (foot, hamstring) will not play in Week 7 against the Tennessee Titans.

Huddle Up: Dorsett did not practice at all this week and has failed to do much of anything during Donte Moncrief's absence. He does not need to be owned outside the deepest of leagues. With T.Y. Hilton (hip) ailing a bit as well, it is possible Andrew Luck will have to rely on Chester Rogers, Tevaun Smith and Devin Street more often than he would prefer this weekend.

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (foot, hamstring) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 20.

Huddle Up: Dorsett has missed two practices in a row now. We're not at Defcon 1 yet, but Dorsett's participation, or lack thereof, tomorrow will be telling. He has underachieved even with Donte Moncrief out, though, and is a risky start in a tough matchup with the Tennessee Titans anyway.

  • Posted: 10/19/2016 2:29pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (foot, hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Oct. 19.

Huddle Up: You don't want to start a week of practice by not practicing with multiple injuries. Even when Dorsett has been healthy he hasn't done much as the Colts' No. 2 receiver with Donte Moncrief out. You're playing with fire if you put a hampered Dorsett into your starting lineup this week, especially in a tough matchup with the Tennessee Titans.

  • Posted: 10/19/2016 9:07am ET

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (ankle) is day to day, according to head coach Chuck Pagano.

Huddle Up: Dorsett has a 13-253-1 line on the year despite a sparkling opportunity opened by the loss of Donte Moncrief (shoulder). He's a fringe flex option.

  • Posted: 10/16/2016 8:57pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) was forced out of the Week 6 game against the Houston Texans due to a hamstring injury.

Huddle Up: Dorsett had the opportunity to step up and fill the void left by Donte Moncrief, but now he is injured, too. The Colts are very shorthanded at receiver with Dorsett, Moncrief and Quan Bray sidelined.

  • Posted: 10/2/2016 5:48am ET

Updating previous reports, Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (ankle) is active in Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, Oct. 2.

Huddle Up: Dorsett is a risky fantasy play but has a spot in lineups for brave owners. He's in the flex conversation.
