Huddle Up: Kessler will have to hold off DeShone Kizer in camp, and it's possible he could beat out the rookie. Kessler has improved his arm strength this offseason. However, Kessler doesn't have a lot of fantasy appeal except in deeper two-QB leagues.

Huddle Up: Kessler appears to be the favorite for the starting spot, but he merits very little fantasy appeal right now.

Huddle Up: Kessler is the leading candidate for the starting job but will have to compete for the job during training camp. He has some decent stats when he played in 2016 but should be avoided in all fantasy leagues if he is the starting quarterback.

Huddle Up: Kessler could get the starting nod in Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he would obviously have very little fantasy appeal in that matchup.

Huddle Up: No surprise here, as Kessler sustained his second concussion in a month last weekend, and it's possible the club may shut him down for the rest of the year in this lost season. Josh McCown will take over at quarterback, and considering the Browns usually fall behind by large amounts, he'll have potential to post some big stat-lines from here on out with plenty of garbage time. He could end up being a serviceable QB2.

Huddle Up: Kessler will resume his starting role in Week 11 against Pittsburgh, but he shouldn't be starting in fantasy leagues.

Huddle Up: Neither Kessler or McCown was overly effective, and it remains to be seen who Cleveland will put under center in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Kessler has been solid since taking over the starting quarterback job and has five touchdowns and one interception in six games. It appears like Kessler could be the quarterback of the future for the Browns, but owners in all leagues should avoid him.

Huddle Up: Whether Kessler will start instead of Josh McCown remains to be seen. McCown is coming off a 341-yard outing and easily has more experience than the rookie Kessler. Whoever starts will be throwing against the Dallas Cowboys, though. That's not a QB1 matchup for either quarterback.

Huddle Up: It appears like Kessler will miss at least one game because of his concussion. Josh McCown has been participating in practice this week and may be the starting quarterback in Week 8. McCown has played well at times since he has been with the Browns but should be avoided in most leagues.

Huddle Up: Kessler is only a rookie and has been thrown to the wolves due to injuries, but he has taken a beaten in his young inaugural campaign. It's unclear if Kessler will be cleared from the concussion protocol in time for Sunday's game, but the Browns will leave for London on Thursday. If Kessler doesn't make that trip then he won't be playing. Either way, starting a Cleveland quarterback is still highly ill advised.

Huddle Up: Kessler is the Browns' best option at quarterback until Josh McCown returns, but that probably won't be this week. Either way, the Cleveland quarterback situation is one to avoid, especially versus a Titans squad that has been one of the better fantasy defenses against quarterbacks this year.

Huddle Up: Charlie Whitehurst likely will take over as the starting quarterback with Kessler sidelined. Owners will need to keep an eye out for an update on Kessler's status over the next day or two, but owners probably should avoid all Cleveland quarterbacks.
