Huddle Up: Brissett will start in Week 4 but likely will go back to being the No. 3 quarterback once Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo are ready to play. He is not a strong option for owners this week and he will not have much value moving forward.

Huddle Up: Brissett was a limited participant in practice throughout the week and he was given the starting nod because QB Jimmy Garoppolo (shoulder) was not deemed healthy enough to play following pregame warmups. Brissett is unlikely to throw many passes Sunday and therefore should not be considered a strong fantasy option.

Huddle Up: Brissett could be the starting quarterback in Week 4 if Jimmy Garoppolo is not able to play. He probably will not throw many passes if he plays and will not be a strong fantasy option for owners.

Huddle Up: It's unclear if either Brissett or Garoppolo will be able to take the field this weekend, but neither warrants starter consideration, especially not against a Buffalo Bills pass defense that has only allowed two passing touchdowns this year.

Huddle Up: Brissett performed admirably for a third-string quarterback in Week 2 and 3. He did most of his fantasy damage with his legs and finished with 48 rushing yards and a score against the Houston Texans last week. With Tom Brady set to return from suspension in Week 5, Brissett isn't a viable long-term fantasy option, and especially since he isn't a lock to play this week. If Brissett does receive the start against Buffalo Sunday, Oct. 2, he checks out as a low-end QB2.

Huddle Up: Brissett's status for Week 4 is uncertain at this point, so owners should keep an eye on the situation. He would receive limited pass attempts if he plays this week and would not be the best option for owners.

Huddle Up: Brissett is expected to be available for Week 4, and with the reports of Jimmy Garoppolo in pain and without mobility in his arm, Brissett could face the Buffalo Bills. He's a low-end bye week filler.

Huddle Up: Future Hall-of-Fame coach Bill Belichick just continues to get tested. This injury should sideline Brissett in the team's Week 4 game versus the Buffalo Bills, and with Tom Brady (suspension) and Jimmy Garappolo (shoulder) also still out, the Patriots are currently without a quarterback. Well, except for the emergency one -- wide receiver Julian Edelman. It should be a real interesting week and change coming up for New England.

Huddle Up: New England kept things simple in the passing game, but Brissett was able to make plays with his legs. If Jimmy Garoppolo is unable to suit up in Week 4, Brissett would be a roll-of-the-dice play in DFS formats.

Huddle Up: Don't bother with Brissett in seasonal fantasy leagues, but he could be a sneaky low-priced DFS option.
