Miami Dolphins WR Leonte Carroo caught one pass for 16 yards and his first NFL touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12.

Huddle Up: Carroo has a bright future but should not be on any single-year roster in 2016, unless DeVante Parker's back injury winds up being serious.

Miami Dolphins WR Leonte Carroo has been having a good camp, according to head coach Adam Gase, and the team is eager to see more. 'He's been making some positive plays,' Gase said. 'His biggest thing is mentally, what are we going to do? Is he going to keep growing? Are we going to get stuck? Are we going to have that rookie wall hit? He's going to keep rolling on that.'

Huddle Up: Carroo is a talented rookie but he'll have to fight for targets in his first season with Jarvis Landry, DeVante Parker and Kenny Stills. Carroo could make a splash in re-draft leagues if Miami has an injury or two at receiver but right now he's more valuable in dynasty and DFS formats.

Miami Dolphins WR Leonte Carroo probably will receive playing time in 2016 as long as he continues to impress during training camp.

Huddle Up: With PPR-stud Jarvis Landry and second-year wideout DeVante Parker drawing much of the fantasy attention in South Beach, don't forget about the third-round pick who's been looking as if he's on track to make a seamless jump to the NFL.

Miami Dolphins WR Leonte Carroo made a favorable impressive on the coaching staff during the team's offseason program. He said Wednesday, June 22, that his first priority is losing weight. 'I'm 217 now, trying to get down to 210,' Carroo said. 'You become faster when you shed some pounds. I don't have any bad weight on me. That's what I was at the combine. Why not be as fast and explosive as I can be?'

Huddle Up: The third-round pick has received a fair amount of sleeper hype, but to have any significant 2016 fantasy relevance, he'll likely have to beat out 2015 first-round pick DeVante Parker for a starting position.
