Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 16 of his 25 pass attempts for 234 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 7 against the San Francisco 49ers and he added four runs for 26 yards and a score.

Huddle Up: Prescott and the Dallas offense had its way with the San Francisco defense, moving the ball at will. Things figure to be a little more difficult in another road game in Week 8 against the division rival Redskins.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott threw 25-for-36 for 251 yards and three touchdowns Sunday, Oct. 8, in a 35-31 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Prescott was also picked off once.

Huddle Up: Prescott has six touchdowns in his past two games, which keeps him on the low-end QB1 scale heading into Week 7. The Cowboys own a bye in Week 6.

  • Posted: 10/1/2017 5:12pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 20 of his 36 pass attempts for 252 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Rams. He added three runs for 25 yards.

Huddle Up: Prescott has tossed two or more touchdowns in each of the past three games and he ran for one other. While his yardage totals are just OK, he has emerged as a useful low-end QB1 in all fantasy leagues from week to week. The Cowboys host the Packers in Week 5.

  • Posted: 9/25/2017 10:21pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott had an efficient game Monday, Sept. 25, against the Arizona Cardinals, completing 13-of-18 passes for 183 yards and racking up two touchdown tosses compared to zero interceptions. He also ran three times for 16 yards, picking up a rushing touchdown in the process as well.

Huddle Up: With so few pass attempts Monday night, the numbers may not jump out right away but it was actually a very solid showing overall for the second-year signal-caller. It was also the most fantasy points Prescott has produced in a game this season. Hopefully his owners will get more performances like this one that are reminiscent of his fantastic rookie campaign of a year ago.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (ankle) will be 'ready to go' for Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals, according to general manager/owner Jerry Jones, after suffering a minor ankle injury in a Week 2 loss to the Denver Broncos.

Huddle Up: Prescott looked as though he could have hurt his knee when he was twisted awkwardly on a tackle at the end of a scramble in the first quarter, but it turned out to be his ankle and he did not miss any snaps after getting it rewrapped. The Cardinals pose yet another difficult matchup for the Cowboys, but Prescott has accounted well for himself so far and should be counted to produce like a low-end QB1 on Monday night.

  • Posted: 9/18/2017 2:58pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (ankle) suffered an ankle injury in the Cowboys' Week 2 loss to the Denver Broncos, according to head coach Jason Garrett.

Huddle Up: Despite the ankle ailment, Prescott put together a solid game even in a blowout loss. The injury doesn't sound serious enough to threaten any game time, but monitor Prescott's status throughout the week to be certain.

  • Posted: 9/17/2017 8:44pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 30 of his 50 pass attempts for 238 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in the Week 2 game against the Broncos. He also rushed three times for a team-high 24 yards.

Huddle Up: The fact Prescott led the team in rushing tells you a little bit about how things went on this day, even if you didn't know the overall result. It was a grind against the stout Denver D. The Cowboys will look for better results in Week 3 in Arizona on Monday Night Football.

  • Posted: 9/10/2017 8:18pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 24 of his 39 pass attempts for 268 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in the Week 1 win against the Giants. He also added three rushes for 24 yards.

Huddle Up: The Cowboys lost just three regular-season games in 2016, and the Giants accounted for two of them, so Prescott exorcised some demons. It also helps that Odell Beckham Jr. was sidelined due to injury. Prescott also had Ezekiel Elliott in the backfield, which was helpful to keep the pressure off of him. He plays behind one of the best offensive lines in football and will remains a borderline low-end QB1 or high-end QB2 depending on the matchup.

  • Posted: 8/24/2017 2:16pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott said he anticipates playing the entire first half of the Cowboys' Week 3 preseason game. He would even like to play into the third quarter, but admitted that will be up to head coach Jason Garrett.

Huddle Up: The third game of the preseason is generally considered the dress rehearsal for the starters, so extended playing time is to be expected. Entering his sophomore season, Prescott represents a serviceable low-end QB1 to high-end QB2. He may be relied on more during the first half of the season with Ezekiel Elliott suspended.

  • Posted: 8/19/2017 5:06pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott went 7-of-8 for 106 yards and one touchdown in two series against the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday, Aug. 19.

Huddle Up: Prescott had little issue against the Colts' suspect defense on the opening drive, leading a 95-yard drive in seven plays before hitting Dez Bryant on a 32-yard score. The Cowboys are going to need more from Prescott during Ezekiel Elliott's absence and, at least in this contest, he was up to the challenge. The second-year quarterback profiles as a low-end QB1 this season.

  • Posted: 5/24/2017 8:53pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott has emerged as a more vocal leader entering his second season, and quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson recently said he?s seen nothing from Prescott that should worry anyone about the reigning rookie of the year taking his foot off the gas. 'There has been no complacency at all. Nothing is too big for that kid. He?s improved strength-wise, flexibility-wise, speed-wise, quickness-wise, so he?s not resting on anything that went on last year,' Wilson said.

Huddle Up: Prescott never did look like a rookie in 2016, so we shouldn't be all that surprised he seems to be ahead of the curve entering his second year either. The Cowboys will remain a run-oriented offense, but there's really no reason to believe Prescott can't continue to perform at the fantasy QB1 level he did for the bulk of last season.

  • Posted: 4/15/2017 7:55pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott said Saturday, April 15, he expects things to be harder in his sophomore season. 'The defenses have had more looks at me, so they're going to throw things at me,' Prescott said. 'I'm ready for all of it. I'm excited for the challenge.'

Huddle Up: Prescott has the weapons around him to build on his impressive rookie season. Grab him as a low-end QB1.

  • Posted: 3/5/2017 5:50pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott's work ethic is Peyton Manning-like, according to owner Jerry Jones, and Jones said he expects 'dramatic improvement' from Prescott in 2017.

Huddle Up: Even if he just repeats the numbers from his rookie campaign, Prescott will be in the QB1 mix in 2017.

  • Posted: 2/24/2017 8:05pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott isn't going to suffer a sophomore slump, according to New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton, and Payton said Prescott plays with a calmness that should continue to benefit him.

Huddle Up: After his impressive rookie campaign, Prescott is already in the QB1 mix entering 2017.

  • Posted: 2/4/2017 5:26pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott was named the Associated Press Offensive Rookie of the Year Saturday, Feb. 4.

Huddle Up: Prescott finished his rookie year with 29 total touchdowns. He is in the QB1 conversation heading into 2017.

  • Posted: 1/15/2017 5:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 24 of his 38 pass attempts for 302 yards, three touchdowns and an interception and ran for 13 yards in a 34-31 loss to the Green Bay Packers Sunday, Jan. 15.

Huddle Up: After a brilliant rookie season that no one could have predicted, Prescott is already in the mix as a QB1 heading into 2017.

  • Posted: 12/30/2016 5:14am ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott won't play the whole game in Week 17 as QBs Tony Romo and Mark Sanchez are expected to play an undetermined role as well.

Huddle Up: It could be a situation like a preseason game where he plays the first half and comes out. Due to such, he really isn't worth rolling the dice on in fantasy this week against the Philadelphia Eagles.

  • Posted: 12/26/2016 8:05pm ET

Dallas Cowboys rookie QB Dak Prescott completed 15 of his 20 pass attempts for 212 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 16 game against the Detroit Lions Monday, Dec. 26. He also rushed four times for 35 yards.

Huddle Up: The only things that can slow down Prescott are the New York Giants, and perhaps rest in Week 17 with the team already having clinched home-field advantage through the NFC playoffs. Fantasy owners playing into the final week of NFL will want to be careful with the rookie.

  • Posted: 12/26/2016 7:55am ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott will play in Week 17, along with the starters, as normal, according to head coach Jason Garrett.

Huddle Up: This will be subject to change because the Cowboys have nothing to play for as far as seeding goes. The Detroit Lions could still be playing for the division crown next week, which means Prescott is a dicey start next week.

  • Posted: 12/19/2016 5:31am ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott was 32-for-36 for 279 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions Sunday, Dec. 18, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He broke a franchise record with his sixth rushing touchdown as a quarterback, though.

Huddle Up: The accuracy is ridiculously good, but it was a pretty pedestrian fantasy line until he reached the end zone with his legs. Prescott remains a midrange QB1.

  • Posted: 12/12/2016 9:26am ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott will only come out of the lineup in favor of backup Tony Romo if the rookie is unavailable and/or injured, according to team owner Jerry Jones.

Huddle Up: Prescott played arguably the worst game of his brief pro career in Sunday's loss to the New York Giants. Apparently, some in the Dallas media want to stir up some controversy even after Romo publicly passed the torch to him a few weeks ago. Prescott has slowed in recent weeks thanks to back-to-back difficult road matchups, but don't be surprised if he gets back on track with consecutive home games over the next two weeks, even against the improving defenses of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions.

  • Posted: 12/1/2016 9:19pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 12 of his 18 passes for 139 yards and a touchdown and ran six times for 37 yards in a 17-15 win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13.

Huddle Up: Prescott didn't throw much in what became a low-scoring, defensive battle. He should return to form in Week 14 against the Giants.

  • Posted: 11/22/2016 3:55pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott has registered a 100.0 QB rating in eight games this year, which currently pits him in a tie for second place with Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger and Cleveland Browns QB Robert Griffin III for most such games in a rookie season. He trails only Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson, who posted nine in his rookie campaign.

Huddle Up: More likely than not, Prescott will break that mark by the end of 2016, which should serve as additional evidence in proving how special the 23-year-old really is. For the season, Prescott has completed 214-of-316 passes (67.7 percent) for 2,640 yards and 17 touchdowns compared to only two interceptions. Furthermore, he's also rushed for 141 yards on 33 carries, while scoring four touchdowns on the ground. It'll be an interesting battle for Offensive Rookie of the Year between him and teammate Ezekiel Elliot. In the meantime, Prescott should sustain his QB1 status versus the Redskins on Thanksgiving.

  • Posted: 11/20/2016 3:58pm ET

Dallas Cowboys rookie QB Dak Prescott completed 27 of his 36 attempts for 301 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 11 game against the Baltimore Ravens. He also rushed twice for 16 yards.

Huddle Up: Prescott is getting better, and that's scary for the NFL and the rest of the fantasy universe. He has two or more touchdown passes in five straight outings, totaling 13 TDs with two interceptions and he has his first two 300-yard games in the past two weeks. He'll look to keep it rolling against the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving in Week 12.

  • Posted: 11/16/2016 9:11am ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott won't have a short leash at quarterback. '(We) certainly don't want any of our players looking over their shoulders when they play,' head coach Jason Garrett said.

Huddle Up: Prescott would likely have to sustain an injury for Tony Romo to replace him at this stage. Prescott has been a top-10 quarterback in fantasy the last five weeks. He'll face a midrange Baltimore Ravens defense in Week 11, and he remains a solid QB1 option.

  • Posted: 11/13/2016 10:34pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott will start in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens, owner and general manager Jerry Jones confirmed Sunday, Nov. 13.

Huddle Up: Prescott has led the team to eight straight wins and the best record in the NFL and the news isn't terribly surprising, as everyone knew the day would come with Tony Romo healthy again.

  • Posted: 11/13/2016 8:39pm ET

Dallas Cowboys rookie QB Dak Prescott completed 22 of his 32 pass attempts for 319 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 10 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The rookie led a fourth quarter comeback to help his team to an eighth consecutive victory.

Huddle Up: Prescott did lose a fumble, so it wasn't a perfect day. But the rookie from Mississippi State is tearing it up and has emerged as a trusted fantasy starter in leagues of 12 or more teams. The Cowboys host the Ravens in Week 12.

  • Posted: 11/8/2016 9:06am ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott will continue to start as long as he has the hot hand, but owner Jerry Jones promises to play the situation 'by ear', according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Charean Williams.

Huddle Up: It's been clear for weeks Dallas will not make a change until Prescott gets hurt, has a bad game or the Cowboys lose - none of which has happened lately. While there is always a chance that changes, the odds that it will diminish by the week. Therefore, Prescott will likely remain a QB1 in fantasy for the foreseeable future.

  • Posted: 11/6/2016 12:59pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott went 21-for-27 for 247 yards and three touchdowns against the Cleveland Browns in Week 9. He also rushed for 20 yards on four carries.

Huddle Up: Prescott continues to produce as the starter and could keep the job for the rest of the season. He has thrown for eight touchdowns in his last three games and has been consistent with his passing yards. He is scheduled to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in the next game and should be a starter in all leagues.

  • Posted: 11/1/2016 9:33am ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott may hold on to the starting job even after Tony Romo (back) is cleared to return, based on comments made by team owner Jerry Jones on Tuesday, Nov. 1. 'You want to be very mindful of what you got going. Chemistry has to be recognized,' Jones told reporters.

Huddle Up: Jones has apparently reversed course on the issue after claiming Romo would be handed the job if/when he was cleared to play a few weeks ago, although the Cowboys are making it something of a non-issue by continuing to push back his timetable for a return. Prescott has emerged as a fantasy QB1 as a rookie and should be expected to keep the job as long as Dallas keeps winning.

  • Posted: 10/31/2016 5:12am ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott will start in Week 9 against the Cleveland Browns, according to owner Jerry Jones.

Huddle Up: Prescott will probably remain the starter as long as he's healthy. He threw for 287 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Week 8, and he tacked on a rushing touchdown. He's a midrange QB1 against the Cleveland Browns.
