Huddle Up: Matt Jones and Marshall will be hampered for the start of the regular season, leaving a crack open in the door for Robert Kelley to prove himself as a deep sleeper. Chris Thompson should see plenty of action in the passing game even when his fellow running backs are healthy. He deserves a look in the RB3 to RB4 range in PPR formats.

Huddle Up: Marshall is competing for the No. 3 running back job, so missing some time would hurt his chances to make the team. He probably should not be drafted in most fantasy leagues but could be a waiver wire option if he makes the team because he probably would see playing time if Matt Jones suffered an injury.

Huddle Up: Marshall is competing for the No. 3 running back job, so owners should monitor the situation. Matt Jones and Chris Thompson are the top two running backs, but Marshall could receive most of the work if Jones suffered an injury since Thompson is more of a receiving option. Marshall probably should only be a late-round option in deeper leagues but could be an attractive waiver wire option during the season.

Huddle Up: Marshall earned praise throughout training camp, but he will need to a show a lot more in the remaining preseason games to earn meaningful carries when it really counts. For now, he is a late- round lottery ticket in deeper leagues.

Huddle Up: A seventh-round pick, Marshall has the potential to push Matt Jones for carries in Washington--but he'll need to flash something early in training camp to get enough touches to do so.

Huddle Up: Missed practice time and rookies isn't a particularly good combination, and the seventh-round back will have to play catch up if he hopes to have a shot at the No. 2 gig behind Matt Jones.

Huddle Up: Of this group Marshall has the most fantasy upside. If healthy, he could supplant Chris Thompson as the Redskins' pass-catching back and perhaps even push Matt Jones for feature-back carries.
