Huddle Up: The Patriots' receiving corps takes another hit with Mitchell on IR. This also sheds some more light on the acquisition of Phillip Dorsett. Chris Hogan and Danny Amendola will now be called on even more often, but Brandin Cooks and Rob Gronkowski will see the bulk of targets. Plus, we know the Patriots like to implement their running backs in the passing game. Make sure to put Mitchell on an IR slot in your leagues in order to be able to add someone, like Amendola, off waivers.

Huddle Up: Mitchell's stock rose when Julian Edelman went down for the year, but Edelman's loss benefits Brandin Cooks and Chris Hogan more than Mitchell. Even if Mitchell plays, he is at best a flex play in deeper leagues versus a tough defense.

Huddle Up: Mitchell could be active for Week 1 but probably will not have a big role since he missed most of the preseason. Owners should look for other options to use in their lineups.

Huddle Up: Mitchell appears to have a chance to play in Week 1 even though he was sidelined for most of the preseason. He could have a bigger role in the passing game with Julian Edelman out for the season. Owners may want to see how he is used in the passing game before using him on their lineups.

Huddle Up: Mitchell was a pleasant surprise as a fourth-round rookie in 2016, but he figures to be reduced to more of a specialty role as a sophomore after New England added Brandin Cooks to a receiver corps that already boasts Julian Edelman and Chris Hogan. As such, Mitchell will have a hard time being fantasy-relevant this season barring a rash of injuries in front of him on the depth chart.

Huddle Up: Mitchell is a risky DFS play this week, but with such a small player pool, consider him a flex.

Huddle Up: Mitchell was a limited participant in practice throughout the week and had been listed as questionable on the injury report. WRs Michael Floyd and Danny Amendola could see increased snaps in his absence and are worthy of consideration as WR4 options in postseason fantasy leagues.

Huddle Up: With Mitchell sidelined, it is a lot easier to roll the dice on Chris Hogan as a high-upside WR3.

Huddle Up: Mitchell has rolled up four touchdowns over the past four games after failing to find the end zone in his first nine outings. The rookie has emerged as a solid WR3 in all PPR fantasy formats.

Huddle Up: Mitchell has rolled up 17 receptions for 222 yards and three scores over the past three outings, emerging as a viable WR3 in most fantasy formats heading into Week 14 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Huddle Up: Mitchell has nine catches and three scores in the last two games, and he should be scooped up off waivers where available in case his role in the offense continues to grow.

Huddle Up: Mitchell is gaining the trust of Tom Brady and is worth a look if he is still available off the waiver wire. He can be trusted as a WR4 in most fantasy leagues in Week 13 against the Rams.

Huddle Up: Mitchell has been seeing increased work over the past couple of games, and Sunday's performance was a positive sign. He is worth scooping up as a speculative fantasy pick going forward in deeper leagues if you need receiver help.
