Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison (hamstring) sat out practice for the second consecutive day Thursday, Jan. 19.

Huddle Up: This isn't too surprising, considering head coach Mike McCarthy said Allison might not practice until the day before the game. He'll be out there on Sunday and offer solid upside as a WR3/FLEX option for DFS owners, especially if Jordy Nelson misses another contest.

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison (hamstring) may not practice until Saturday, Jan. 21, according to head coach Mike McCarthy.

Huddle Up: Allison is expected to play in the NFC Championship game but is sitting out practice so he can rest his injured hamstring. He has had a solid role in the passing game over the last few weeks and could see more targets if Jordy Nelson misses another game. Owners should consider him a No. 3 receiver or a flex option if he is active.

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison (hamstring) is expected to play in the NFC Championship game Sunday, Jan. 22.

Huddle Up: Allison had three catches for 46 yards against the Dallas Cowboys last week. His upside will be limited if Jordy Nelson (ribs) returns, but he's a flex option against the Atlanta Falcons.

Updating previous report, Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison (hamstring) sat out practice with a left hamstring injury Wednesday, Jan. 18, but did so for 'precautionary reasons'. He did not commit to participating in practice on Thursday, Jan. 19, or if he was trying to work his way through the injury via rehab.

Huddle Up: Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams are already looking dicey for Sunday, so the Packers are likely to need Allison at some point. It's not unthinkable Green Bay will be forced to roll out Trevor Davis and Jeff Janis as outside receivers with Randall Cobb working out of the slot in three-wide packages this weekend, although it sounds like Allison has a much better shot at playing than Nelson or Adams. Allison could be worthy of flex consideration in some leagues if he is cleared in time.

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison had one catch for eight yards and was targeted twice in a 38-13 win over the New York Giants Sunday, Jan. 8.

Huddle Up: With Randall Cobb back, Allison's run of productive games came to an abrupt end. Unless Jordy Nelson is sidelined by the rib injury he suffered Sunday, Allison can be ignored in the divisional round.

Green Bay Packers rookie WR Geronimo Allison has passed WRs Jeff Janis and Trevor Davis on the team's depth chart, and he played a season-high 43 snaps (73 percent) in Week 16 against the Minnesota Vikings. He finished with four grabs for 66 yards on seven targets. 'When he gets an opportunity, he gets in there and makes plays,' head coach Mike McCarthy said Monday, Dec. 26. 'I can't really say enough about him.'

Huddle Up: Allison might have a meaningful role in the key NFC North battle in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions, especially if Randall Cobb is not healthy enough to play. He isn't a bad WR4 in deeper fantasy leagues playing into Week 17, as he has built nice rapport with Aaron Rodgers of late.

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison, just promoted from the practice squad, posted two receptions for 21 yards and a touchdown in the Week 8 game against the Atlanta Falcons. He was targeted four times. The catches were the first of Allison's fledgling NFL career.

Huddle Up: Allison might have a minor role in the offense if Ty Montgomery continues to miss time, but he would only be worth using in the deepest of fantasy formats despite the touchdown.
