Arizona Cardinals WR Chad Williams (ankle) missed a third straight day of practice Friday, Nov. 9, with an ankle injury.

Huddle Up: With only 11 catches for 113 yards and a TD in eight games, you probably weren't using Williams anyway, but it looks like he'll miss his first game of the season after not practicing all week coming off the bye.

Arizona Cardinals WR Chad Williams was targeted eight times against the Denver Broncos on Thursday, Oct. 18. He caught four passes for 34 yards.

Huddle Up: Williams' eight targets were both tied for the team lead and a career high. He's been a bit more involved recently, and the former third-round pick could be added to watch lists in larger leagues.

Arizona Cardinals WR Chad Williams, listed as the No. 2 receiver, went without a catch on three targets in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Huddle Up: Head coach Steve Wilks said everyone across the board will be evaluated, and with just six points scored through two games, offensive shake-ups could be coming. Only two Arizona wideouts had receptions. Williams had a nice training camp and preseason, but he wasn't a terribly attractive option, even as a No. 2, so avoid him for fantasy purposes going forward.

Arizona Cardinals WRs Christian Kirk and Chad Williams anticipate seeing more targets in Week 2 after combining for just five said targets last week. Head coach Steve Willks said the Cardinals need to spread it around more in the passing game.

Huddle Up: That's all well and good, but we'll need to see it to believe it before any actionable decisions are made. Keep Kirk and/or Williams on fantasy benches for the time being.

Arizona Cardinals WR Chad Williams turned heads in the preseason game Friday, Aug. 17, against the New Orleans Saints, posting three receptions for 33 yards. He and WR Christian Kirk made their presence felt, much to the delight of head coach Steve Wilks. 'I definitely did,' Wilks said. 'Those guys did a great job.'

Huddle Up: Williams and Kirk stepped up with Brice Butler (foot) sidelined, as they battle JJ Nelson and others for depth chart position. As far as Williams is concerned, it was redemption, as he had several drops in practice on Wednesday. His coach said he would 'catch everything' in the game, and Wilks proved prophetic since Williams didn't have any miscues. For now, Williams is only worth a late-round flier in the deepest of fantasy leagues.

Arizona Cardinals WR Chad Williams looks more confident and comfortable this offseason and is one of the players in the mix for the No. 2 receiver job, in the opinion of Mike Jurecki of 98.7 Arizona.

Huddle Up: Williams is unproven, but if he heads into the season as the starter, he will be worth a flier as a WR5.

Arizona Cardinals WR Chad Williams is the player most likely to 'step forward' and win the No. 2 receiver job this season, in the opinion of Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com.

Huddle Up: Williams didn't do much as a rookie, but he could be headed to a much bigger role this season. If he does break camp as a starter, he could be worth a flier in the later rounds of redraft leagues.
