Huddle Up: Edmonds is coming off of a two-touchdown performance, but he has only been seeing a handful of touches per game. He is simply a handcuff to Johnson at this point.

Huddle Up: The rookie out of Fordham had not visiting the end zone all season and his previous best from scrimmage was 48 total yards set back in Week 1. He is a player to watch, especially for those in dynasty leagues, but he has little short-term value as long as David Johnson remains healthy.

Huddle Up: Edmonds enjoyed a strong offseason and the momentum has continued in the preseason. He is expected to be the backup to David Johnson, so Johnson's owners should try to grab Edmonds later in drafts as a handcuff.

Huddle Up: Johnson is coming off a yearlong absence, and the team could install Edmonds in to spell him early and often. He is at least great insurance for DJ owners, but Edmonds holds RB5 value on his own.

Huddle Up: There has been a decent amount of buzz regarding Edmonds this spring, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him open the season as the primary backup to David Johnson. If that happens, Johnson owners should make sure to secure Edmonds as a handcuff.

Huddle Up: Edmonds likely will not receive a lot of touches as long as David Johnson is healthy. He likely will not have much fantasy value as a rookie.
