The Denver Broncos elevated WR Tavarres King from the practice squad to the active roster Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Huddle Up: No real fantasy relevance here as this was simply a move to keep the rookie fifth-round pick from being claimed by the WR-needy Packers.

Denver Broncos WR Tavarres King continues to see work with the second-team offense, but he is expected to start the regular season as the team's No. 5 wide receiver behind WRs Demaryius Thomas, Wes Welker, Eric Decker and Andre Caldwell.

Huddle Up: The fifth-round pick was once thought to have a shot at the No. 4 WR slot, but Caldwell's strong camp and preseason following a disappointing 2012 has kept the rookie at bay.

Denver Broncos rookie WR Tavarres King stood out in practice Thursday, July 25. King showed great burst after making the catch.

Huddle Up: Keep an eye on King, a 5th-round pick out of Georgia who has a clear path to winning the team's No. 4 WR job. A year ago, that role was shared by Matt Willis and Andre Caldwell, who combined to catch all of 11 passes for 108 yards and no TDs.

Denver Broncos WR Tavarres King has a chance to be the No. 4 or 5 wide receiver for the team this season because he is a legitimate deep threat.

Huddle Up: King never quite lived up to expectations at Georgia and fell to the fifth round of the draft, but Broncos backup WRs Andre Caldwell and Matt Willis only combined for 11 receptions and 108 yards in 2012, leaving the door wide open for the rookie to make an immediate impression.
