Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker said the offense needs a speedy receiver who can take the top off the defense and open up things in the middle of the field.

Huddle Up: If the Titans do spend one of their two first-round picks on a receiver, that player would be worth an immediate look in fantasy circles. Even if a receiver isn't added, Walker will remain one of the safest TE1 options in 2017.

  • Posted: 1/1/2017 4:06pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker posted five receptions for 35 yards on eight targets in the Week 17 game against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Walker had his lowest yardage total since 2013, finishing 65 catches for 800 yards. However, his seven touchdowns were a career best and he will still be a low-end TE1 heading into 2017.

  • Posted: 12/24/2016 2:42pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker managed just three receptions for 23 yards in the Week 16 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but he was able to find the end zone. He was targeted eight times.

Huddle Up: Walker has tailed off down the stretch for fantasy owners, and he is likely to struggle into Week 17 working with Matt Cassel in the regular season finale against the Houston Texans.

  • Posted: 12/18/2016 8:03pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker posted six receptions for 55 yards on seven targets in the Week 15 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Huddle Up: Walker hasn't had a big-time outing since his 124-yard performance with a touchdown against the Packers Nov. 13. Over the past four games he has 55 or fewer yards, but he remains a TE1 in all fantasy leagues for his potential. He has been targeted six or more times in five of the past six outings.

  • Posted: 12/11/2016 7:06pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker posted two receptions for 30 yards on seven targets in the Week 14 game against the Denver Broncos.

Huddle Up: It was an ugly day for the Tennessee pass attack and even the top receivers struggled. Walker remains a must-start fantasy option in all leagues despite this hiccup.

  • Posted: 11/27/2016 4:58pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker posted three grabs for 50 yards and a touchdown in the Week 12 game against the Chicago Bears. He was targeted four times.

Huddle Up: Walker remains a dependable fantasy option, scoring three times in the past four outings. Fantasy owners will need to make alternate plans, however, as the Titans are on a bye in Week 13.

  • Posted: 11/16/2016 10:48pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker will meet the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11. He posted seven receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown on eight targets in the first meeting back in Week 7.

Huddle Up: The Colts have allowed 59 receptions for 683 yards and four touchdowns against tight ends this season, so Walker is in good shape for a big fantasy performance in Week 11.

  • Posted: 11/13/2016 4:57pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (groin) hauled in nine receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown in the Week 11 game against the Indianapolis Colts. He was targeted 11 times.

Huddle Up: Walker was questionable with a groin injury this week, but he made it through the game without any setbacks and rewarded his fantasy owners for the risk. He will have another big game in Week 11 against the poor pass defense of the Indianapolis Colts.

  • Posted: 11/11/2016 1:16pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (groin) was a full participant at practice for the third consecutive day Friday, Nov. 11.

Huddle Up: Walker's status was never really in doubt, but it's a sign he's getting back to full health. He's one of Marcus Mariota's most consistent targets and is firmly in the TE1 picture. He's among the league leaders at his position with four receiving touchdowns.

  • Posted: 11/10/2016 2:50pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (groin) participated fully in practice Thursday, Nov. 10.

Huddle Up: Walker hasn't been a sexy play so far this year, but he has quietly produced on a consistent basis. He is Marcus Mariota's safest target and is in TE1 territory as usual.

  • Posted: 11/9/2016 3:37pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (groin) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Huddle Up: Walker did not suffer any setbacks after playing in Week 9 and should receive his normal workload against the Green Bay Packers. He has been a consistent performer for owners and should be a No. 1 tight end in all leagues.

  • Posted: 11/6/2016 10:48pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (groin) was targeted nine times in the Week 9 game against the San Diego Chargers, finishing with five grabs for 42 yards and a score.

Huddle Up: Walker entered as a question mark due to a groin injury, but he showed no ill-effects of his injury. He is a safe fantasy option heading into a favorable matchup with the Green Bay Packers in Week 10.

  • Posted: 11/6/2016 12:13pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (groin) is officially active for the team's Week 9 game.

Huddle Up: Walker should be one of the main targets in the passing game despite the injury and should be a No. 1 tight end in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/6/2016 6:03am ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (groin) appears likely to play in Week 9's game against the San Diego Chargers, even though he was listed as questionable on the injury report, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Walker was held out of practice as a precautionary measure Friday, Nov. 4, after sustaining a groin injury while slipping during a drill Thursday, Nov. 3. He should be viewed as a strong TE1 option versus a San Diego defense that has experienced difficulty covering tight ends this season.

  • Posted: 11/4/2016 3:04pm ET

Updating a previous report, Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (groin) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 4, and is listed as questionable for Week 9.

Huddle Up: Walker may be a game-time decision for Week 9, so owners will need to check the inactive list before deciding on their lineups. Walker is a solid No. 1 tight end if he is active, but owners will need other options available just in case.

  • Posted: 11/4/2016 11:58am ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (groin) slipped during a drill in practice Thursday, Nov. 3, which caused his latest injury. He missed practice on Friday, Nov. 4, and admitted he will likely be a game-time decision for Week 9 versus San Diego Chargers but told reporters it is an injury 'I can probably play with'.

Huddle Up: With Walker dealing with some injuries and the Titans running game taking off this year, Walker has been a bit hit-or-miss in fantasy. Barring a setback, however, he is a quality TE1 play this weekend against a defense that has struggled against the few 'name' tight ends (such as Travis Kelce and Julius Thomas) it has faced. If Walker is cleared, he should be expected to perform well.

  • Posted: 11/3/2016 3:14pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (groin) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 3.

Huddle Up: Walker was not on the injury report yesterday, so keep two eyes on his situation heading into the weekend. He's a TE1, as usual, if he plays.

  • Posted: 10/26/2016 11:53am ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (chest) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 26, and is not on the injury report for Week 8.

Huddle Up: Walker has been a solid part of the team's passing game this season and has been targeted eight times in three of his last four games. Walker should be a solid No. 1 tight end in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 10/25/2016 4:32pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (chest) was a full participant in practice Tuesday, Oct. 25.

Huddle Up: Marcus Mariota will have his favorite target Thursday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars have not been accommodating to tight ends in 2016, but Walker remains in TE1 territory as the Titans' best option in the passing game.

  • Posted: 10/24/2016 4:48pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (chest) did not practice Monday, Oct. 24. Walker is dealing with a bruised chest. The Titans did not practice; Walker's limited status is an estimation.

Huddle Up: Walker is Marcus Mariota's most reliable target, so this would be a big loss if Walker can't take the field this week. If he can't play, then Anthony Fasano would make for a decent sleeper option in his stead.

  • Posted: 10/24/2016 12:05pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (chest) came away from his team's Week 7 loss to the Indianapolis Colts with a bruised chest, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Huddle Up: Mularkey didn't go into much detail with any of his injury updates Monday. It doesn't seem as though his injury is serious, but Tennessee plays again Thursday, so Walker won't have the typical recovery time he normally would. If he is active for Week 8, expect Walker to be a low-end TE1 against a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that has defended that position pretty well this season.

  • Posted: 10/23/2016 3:13pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker caught seven passes for 84 yards and one touchdown in a 34-26 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

Huddle Up: Walker and QB Marcus Mariota have developed a strong rapport, so pick him up if he is free in your league. Even though Walker is a TE, he routinely leads the Titans receivers.

  • Posted: 10/9/2016 2:04pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker caught five passes for 66 yards and a touchdown Sunday, Oct. 9, in a 30-14 win over the Miami Dolphins.

Huddle Up: Walker and QB Marcus Mariota have developed a decent rapport over a season and a half, so Walker will likely remain one of Tennessee's top threats as long as he is healthy.

  • Posted: 10/2/2016 5:40pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) was able to play in the Week 4 game against the Houston Texans after missing a game due to a hamstring injury. He managed two grabs for 34 yards on eight targets.

Huddle Up: Walker was targeted frequently, as he normally is, but something was off between he and Marcus Mariota. Walker remains a solid TE1 heading into Week 5 in Miami, and hopefully he was just a bit rusty.

  • Posted: 10/2/2016 9:03am ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) is officially active for the team's Week 4 game.

Huddle Up: Walker is a risky option for owners because of the hamstring injury, but he should have a solid role in the passing game in Week 4. He can be a starting option in all leagues, but owners can keep him out another week if they have better options at tight end.

  • Posted: 10/2/2016 6:35am ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) is expected to play in Week 4's game against the Houston Texans, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Walker took part in practice on a limited basis throughout the week but should be viewed as a risky starting option Sunday, especially considering that the Texans have given up the fewest receiving yards in the NFL.

  • Posted: 10/1/2016 11:06am ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) is questionable for Week 4 against the Houston Texans, but he practiced on Friday, Sept. 30, and is optimistic about his chances of playing after missing sitting out against the Oakland Raiders last week. 'I feel like I have an opportunity to play this week. I did a lot of running (Friday),' Walker said.

Huddle Up: It might be wise for the Titans to hold Walker out one more week, but there is no denying he can make an impact if he plays. Unfortunately, the matchup against Houston is not a good one for him, so owners may want to look in another direction even if he does go. Jace Amaro will likely pick up the slack again if he can't, but he is a longshot to cause a ripple in fantasy.

  • Posted: 9/30/2016 2:38pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 30, and is listed as questionable for Week 4.

Huddle Up: Walker likely will be a game-time decision this week, so owners will need to check on his status before deciding on their starting lineup. He will be a risky option if he is active but should still be a starting candidate for owners.

  • Posted: 9/30/2016 10:39am ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) has taken part in limited practices this week and 'is improving', according to head coach Mike Mularkey. However, he is still expected to be a game-time decision in Week 4 against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Houston has been among the most difficult defenses for tight ends thus far, so Walker is a poor bet to make a huge difference in fantasy this week given his current health. Hunter Henry, Zach Miller and Cameron Brate are among several readily available options at tight end this week who should be started over Walker in Week 4.

  • Posted: 9/29/2016 5:19pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday, Sept. 29.

Huddle Up: Walker is expected to return to action against the Houston Texans in Week 4, and his status as Marcus Mariota's favorite target makes him a TE1.

  • Posted: 9/28/2016 8:48pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) is likely to return in Week 4 against the Houston Texans, head coach Mike Mularkey said Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Huddle Up: Walker missed the Week 3 game and the Tennessee offense was out of sorts, as Marcus Mariota failed to throw a TD for the first time this season. If Walker returns, it helps the passing game across the board.

  • Posted: 9/28/2016 2:18pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Huddle Up: Walker missed Week 3 but could return for the matchup against the Houston Texans Sunday, Oct. 2. He's one of more involved pass catchers in the offense and checks out as a low-end starting option if active. Monitor his progress during practice this week.

  • Posted: 9/26/2016 5:10pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) may be able to participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 29, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Huddle Up: Walker was not able to play in Week 3, so owners will need to check on his status during the week to see if he will be in uniform for Week 4. Walker should be a starting option when he is healthy, but owners will need a backup plan in case he misses another game.

  • Posted: 9/25/2016 6:20am ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) is expected to be a game-time decision for Week 3's game against the Oakland Raiders. He is expected to participate in pregame warmups to test his hamstring before deciding whether he is able to play.

Huddle Up: TEs Anthony Fasano and Phillip Supernaw would split playing time at the position for the Titans if Walker is unavailable, although neither player is a viable fantasy option this week. WR Tajae Sharpe would also see an increase in targets and production.

  • Posted: 9/24/2016 11:09am ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 3 and may be limited at best if he does play against the Oakland Raiders. 'We?ll see how I feel (Sunday) and go from there. It is getting better, it is just a nag. ? I have done this before, where I haven?t practiced all week and still went out there and had a great game. So I don?t think that will be an issue,' Walker said.

Huddle Up: Owners should plan on being without Walker in Week 3 despite his mildly optimistic remarks, while the injury should take him off the DFS radar even if he does play. Anthony Fasano and Phillip Supernaw would see a bump in snaps if he sits out, but neither are worth a look in fantasy. It is much more likely Tajae Sharpe will benefit the most statistically, making him a high-upside WR3 this weekend.

  • Posted: 9/23/2016 1:04pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) was held out of practice on Friday, Sept. 23, and has been listed as questionable for Week 3 against the Oakland Raiders.

Huddle Up: It will be a bit of a shame for owners if Walker sits, as the Raiders were scorched by the Atlanta Falcons' average group of tight ends last week, giving up nine catches for 180 yards and a touchdown. With no other notable tight end on the Titans' roster, Tajae Sharpe could see a slight bump in targets and production against an Oakland secondary that has greatly disappointed so far.

  • Posted: 9/22/2016 5:39pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday, Sept. 22.

Huddle Up: As long as Walker suits up Sunday, he should be a solid TE1 against an Oakland secondary that has been gashed in the first two weeks of the season.

  • Posted: 9/21/2016 5:04pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 21.

Huddle Up: It is not known if Walker is in danger of missing Week 3, so owners should keep an eye on the situation. He is coming off a solid Week 2 performance and should be a starting option in all leagues if he is able to play.

  • Posted: 9/18/2016 2:11pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker caught six balls for 83 yards and a touchdown Sunday, Sept. 18, against the Detroit Lions.

Huddle Up: The Lions surrendered three touchdowns to Indianapolis Colts tight ends in Week 1, so this shouldn't have come as much of a surprise. Walker is a fine play in Week 3 against the Oakland Raiders.

  • Posted: 8/17/2016 9:50pm ET

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker is expected to remain the primary pass target, according to beat writer Paul Kuharsky, although the team will try to spread the ball around to a lot of different people.

Huddle Up: Walker is a low-end TE1 who will see plenty of targets in Tennessee. The wide receiver corps is a big mess and Walker could easily lead this team in receiving yards and scores through the air.
