Huddle Up: With the injury to rookie Charles Sims and now James' shoulder issues, Bobby Rainey is looking like the clear No. 2 RB behind Doug Martin.

Huddle Up: It's a bit surprising given that Rainey emerged as the main man last season after starter Doug Martin went down and Sims is the squad's third-round draft pick, but there's still 6 weeks and 4 preseason tilts until we get to the games that count -- giving the new coaching regime plenty of time to make depth-chart tweaks.

Huddle Up: Once he's fully healthy, James will be battling Bobby Rainey for the right to back up Doug Martin in Tampa Bay's new offense.

Huddle Up: James filled in admirably -- most notably in his 158-yard Week 9 outing in Seattle -- after Doug Martin went down, but the rookie's run came to an end in the first quarter Monday night.

Huddle Up: Fractured ankles and RBs definitely don't mix so don't expect to see the rookie the rest of the season. That leaves Brian Leonard and Bobby Rainey as the Bucs' primary backs, and expect a timeshare going forward.

Huddle Up: This was one of the few negatives for the Bucs on a night in which they jumped out to double-digit lead over the Dolphins. James, who taken over from the injured Doug Martin in Week 7, was off to a strong start as well, picking up 41 yards on his 5 rushes and looked to be well on his way to a second straight 100-yard game. Brian Leonard and Bobby Rainey were pressed into action in James' absence.

Huddle Up: Even Martin had struggled in the past few starts, so expecting much from the rookie -- especially playing alongside a rookie QB against a stout Carolina D -- was a mistake. It's not going to get any easier, either, with a trip to Seattle up next.
