Huddle Up: Carolina could use some receiver help. Not that Hill, a former first-round pick of the Jets, is the guy to provide it but stranger things have happened.

Huddle Up: The 2012 second-round pick has fallen quite a ways, but he'll have a decent chance to work his way on to the Panthers' active roster given the state of their WR corps.

Huddle Up: Yeah, Hill certainly wasn't working with the ideal QB situation in N.Y., but that still doesn't completely explain the 2012 second-round pick's abysmal production (45 catches for 594 yards) in two seasons and another poor showing in camp/preseason this summer. Still only 23, though, Hill will get another chance to show what he can do with another team/QB situation.

Huddle Up: This is pure speculation by Hill's agent but it makes sense from the standpoint that Cleveland needs help at receiver. Hill will get a second chance with another team because of his raw physical skills.

Huddle Up: Hill was a huge bust in New York. He has intriguing physical skills, so another team will take a chance on him. However, receivers that can't catch don't have long careers in the NFL.

Huddle Up: That lack of progress has dogged Hill since he was selected in the second round of the 2012 draft, as evidenced by his modest-at-best totals of 45 catches, 594 yards and 4 TDs in 2 seasons. He's fallen behind on the Jets' depth chart, and could fall off completely if he doesn't turn things around in a hurry.

Huddle Up: Hill didn't show much sophomore-season improvement -- moving from 21-252-3 to 24-342-1 -- and he'll need to show a lot more with free-agent signee Eric Decker attracting a lot of defensive attention on the other side.

Huddle Up: While nothing is guaranteed for Hill, he'll be given every opportunity to live up to being a high draft pick. With the other upgrades to the Jets' offense, if Hill is able to stay healthy he should have little difficulty dramatically improving on last season's disappointing numbers.

Huddle Up: Hill has all of 45 receptions in 23 games over 2 seasons in N.Y., and it's hard to envision him suddenly becoming a fantasy factor given the arrival of Eric Decker, the team's run-first approach and the still-unsettled QB situation.

Huddle Up: The 2012 2nd-round pick has only 45 receptions for 594 yards and 4 TDs in 23 career games and most definitely needs to step up this game to stick around with the Jets, whose No. 1 need is upgrading the offensive play-making corps.
