Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 10, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.

Huddle Up: Gore continues to be main threat in the running game for the Colts but has rushed for at least 60 yards in only one game this season. Gore can be a flex option in deeper leagues but is not a must-start option for owners.

  • Posted: 11/9/2017 2:10pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) had his off day from practice Thursday, Nov. 9.

Huddle Up: At this point in the season and in Gore's career, he's becoming a fantasy afterthought. He receives a respectable amount of touches every game, but he's only scored twice and is averaging just 3.6 yards per carry. With Marlon Mack inevitably taking over, Gore is no more than a flex.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 3:12pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore rushed 17 times for 51 yards in Week 9 against the Houston Texans and he added three grabs for 26 yards on four targets.

Huddle Up: Gore only averaged 3.0 yards per carry, but rookie Marlon Mack was good for just 3.2 yards. Mack might get more of a look down the stretch at Gore's expense, but for right now the veteran remains clearly atop the depth chart. He had 20 total touches to nine for the rookie.

  • Posted: 11/3/2017 1:30pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 3, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.

Huddle Up: Gore has been consistent in his production this season but has not posted big numbers to this point. He could be a flex option in some deeper leagues, but owners likely have better options available to use in their lineups.

  • Posted: 11/2/2017 12:37pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (non-injury) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 2.

Huddle Up: Gore has been receiving practices off each week but should be ready to play in Week 9. He is coming off his best game of the season in Week 8 and will continue to receive most of the carries for the Colts. He will be facing a tough Houston Texans defense this week but can be a flex option in deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 10/30/2017 6:38pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore could be dealt leading up to the trade deadline, as 'at least two teams' have discussed the possibility of trading for him, according to a league source. Gore is in the final season of a three-year contract and a suitor would only be on the hook for $1.75 million of his salary for the second half of the campaign.

Huddle Up: If Gore were to be traded to a contending team, he'd most likely see a drop in his value, as he'd probably land in a spot that would see him become more of a part-time player. Even if he isn't traded, Gore's stock is clearly trending down with youngster Marlon Mack impressing as of late and getting more work as a result. Either way, his outlook isn't very promising for the second half.

  • Posted: 10/29/2017 6:16pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore rushed 16 times for a season-high 82 yards in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals and he added four catches for 19 yards on his four targets.

Huddle Up: It's the first time Gore cracked triple digits in total scrimmage yardages this season, although he failed to score for the fifth consecutive game. He took advantage of the sloppy conditions in Cincinnati with his team using a run-heavy offense. The Colts will head to Houston in Week 9, so continue to treat him more as a RB3 or flex fantasy play in most formats.

  • Posted: 10/27/2017 3:00pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 27, and is not on the injury report for Week 8.

Huddle Up: Gore has posted consistent numbers so far this season but has rushed for more than 50 yards in only one game this season. He could be a flex option in some leagues because of all of the teams on bye, but owners can bench him if they have better options.

  • Posted: 10/26/2017 12:41pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) was given the day off of practice Thursday, Oct. 26.

Huddle Up: Gore is slowly but surely and involuntarily handing over the backfield reins to talented rookie Marlon Mack. Over the last four games Gore has averaged 11.25 carries for 44.25 yards and zero touchdowns. That's worse than Jonathan Stewart, people. The veteran can't be viewed as more than a flex, if that.

  • Posted: 10/22/2017 3:45pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore rushed nine times for 34 yards in Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars and he did not have a reception.

Huddle Up: The Colts got away from the run game with a lopsided score on the board so it was a disappointing day for Gore and his fantasy owners. He'll look to rebound in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but treat him as more of a RB3 or flex play for that one.

  • Posted: 10/20/2017 2:04pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 20, and is not on the injury report for Week 7.

Huddle Up: Gore will be sharing work with Marlon Mack this week but should continue to receive a majority of the work. He has posted consistent numbers this season but has not rushed for more than 60 yards in any game and is not a must-start option for owners.

  • Posted: 10/19/2017 7:05pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore said he and RB Marlon Mack complement each other well because they are 'different kinds of backs.'

Huddle Up: The Colts face a leaky Jacksonville Jaguars run defense in Week 7, but Gore and Mack are merely flex candidates. Gore has the safer floor, but Mack is the upside play and the better long-term prospect.

  • Posted: 10/19/2017 2:22pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (non-injury) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 19.

Huddle Up: Gore will continue to be the starting running back for the Colts but could lose some work to Marlon Mack later in the season. He has received at least 10 carries in every game this season but 57 yards is the most he has rushed for in a game this season. He can be benched this week if owners have better options available.

  • Posted: 10/16/2017 10:06pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore logged 49 rushing yards on 10 carries in the team's Week 6 game Monday, Oct. 16, against the Tennessee Titans. He also caught two of his three targets for 18 yards.

Huddle Up: It wasn't exactly a dud of a performance, as Gore did total 67 yards collectively, but it wasn't anything special either, which has become typical for the former 49er. Gore probably deserved more work, given his 4.9 yards-per-carry average, but the Titans fell behind early in the fourth and went with their passing game more as a result. He's still a decent FLEX option for most formats, but he can be more impactful once Andrew Luck (shoulder) gets back.

  • Posted: 10/14/2017 1:33pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (non-injury) fully participated in practice Saturday, Oct. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.

Huddle Up: Gore will receive a majority of the carries this week but has not rushed for more than 57 yards in any game this season. He can be a flex option in deeper leagues but can also be benched if owners have better options available.

  • Posted: 10/13/2017 1:23pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (non-injury) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 13.

Huddle Up: Gore will remain the starting running back for now but may lose more touches to Marlon Mack as the season goes on. He has been consistent in terms of his stats but has rushed for more than 50 yards in only one game this season. He could be a flex option in some leagues, but is not a weekly starting option.

  • Posted: 10/8/2017 7:35pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore rushed 14 times for 48 yards in Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers and he added three grabs for 38 yards on four targets.

Huddle Up: Gore was stuck mostly in neutral if you take out his big run of 16 yards, which is likely why Marlon Mack saw 10 total touches. The rookie out of South Florida was more explosive. It's a situation worth monitoring heading into Week 6 and beyond.

  • Posted: 10/6/2017 2:29pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 6, and is not on the injury report for Week 5.

Huddle Up: Gore has rushed for at least 50 yards in only one game this season but does have two touchdowns. He may be a flex option in some leagues but can also be benched if owners have better options.

  • Posted: 10/5/2017 5:41pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 5.

Huddle Up: It's just a rest day for the 34-year-old. While it might be tempting riding Gore as a FLEX option against his old team, the fact remains he hasn't done much in this mostly lackluster offense. In fact, he's averaging a lowly 3.1 yards per carry while totaling less than 50 yards per ballgame. The Colts offense has been sluggish without Andrew Luck (shoulder) and that figures to continue against a tough San Francisco defense.

  • Posted: 10/1/2017 9:09pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore rushed 12 times for 46 yards in Week 4 against the Seattle Seahawks and he added three receptions for 34 yards.

Huddle Up: It was a pretty decent showing for the aging tailback against a hungry and still very talented defense. Gore will get a chance to shine next weekend against the visiting 49ers, his former team.

  • Posted: 9/29/2017 4:27pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (non-injury) fully participated in practice and is not on the injury report for Week 4.

Huddle Up: Gore will continue to receive a majority of the carries even though he has rushed for only 145 yards in three games. He will be facing a Seattle Seahawks run defense that has struggled at times this season but should only be considered a flex option in most leagues.

  • Posted: 9/28/2017 1:58pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 28.

Huddle Up: This is a game that does not bode well for Gore on paper, or any Colts for that matter. They'll be playing in one of the toughest environments in the NFL on the road versus the Seattle Seahawks and they could be forced to pass early and often if they fall behind. Gore is a flex at best in Week 4.

  • Posted: 9/24/2017 2:09pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore ran 25 times for 57 yards and a touchdown in Week 3 against the Browns.

Huddle Up: The old man was busy, but he averaged just 2.3 yards per carry. Add in the fact he had a 21-yard rush amongst that production and you can see he was stuffed or went backward on most of his attempts. That should give Gore's fantasy owners pause heading into Week 4 at Seattle against a stiff defense.

  • Posted: 9/21/2017 2:28pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (non-injury) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 21.

Huddle Up: Gore has been receiving days off during practice but will receive his usual workload this week against the Cleveland Browns. He has rushed for 88 yards and one touchdown in the first two games this season. Gore could be flex option in some leagues or could be on the bench if owners have better options.

  • Posted: 9/17/2017 3:22pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore rushed 14 times for 46 yards Sunday, Sept. 17, in a 16-13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Huddle Up: Gore seems to be stuck in neutral when it comes to carries and yards. Gore remains a decent flex option, but the lack of explosiveness makes it difficult for Indy to mount a respectable running game.

  • Posted: 9/15/2017 1:56pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 15, and is not on the injury report for Week 2.

Huddle Up: Gore rushed for 42 yards in Week 1 but should receive more carries this week with Jacoby Brissett expected to start at quarterback. Gore is not must-start fantasy player every week but could be a flex option in most leagues.

  • Posted: 9/14/2017 2:26pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 14.

Huddle Up: The lack of a viable passing game in Indianapolis right now is clearly hurting Gore, not to mention the up-and-coming rookie Marlon Mack. Between those two factors and Gore's inevitable decline, he's a flex at best for Week 2.

  • Posted: 9/8/2017 1:05pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 8, and is not on the injury report for Week 1.

Huddle Up: Gore likely will receive most of the work at running back in Week 1 and could be asked to do more than usual with Scott Tolzien starting. He has been a decent fantasy option over the years and is still a flex option in most leagues.

  • Posted: 9/7/2017 2:31pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) was given the day off from practice Thursday, Sept. 7.

Huddle Up: The Indianapolis offense is not nearly what it can be with Andrew Luck, so expectations should be tempered this week. Gore can be started as a low-end RB2 or flex, however, against a Los Angeles Rams defense that will be without run stuffer Aaron Donald.

  • Posted: 7/31/2017 1:06pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (ankle) was limited in practice Monday, July 31, with a minor ankle injury, according to head coach Chuck Pagano.

Huddle Up: The injury doesn't sound too alarming. At 34 years old, the Colts will limit Gore's workload in camp and during the preseason. He's a low-end RB2 to high-end RB3 option in 2017.

  • Posted: 7/22/2017 9:35am ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore, who turned 34 in May, finished with 66.2 percent of the team's carries in 2015 and 64.5 percent of the team's rushing attempts in 2016.

Huddle Up: Gore ranks 10th all-time with 2,965 carries and should move up to fifth on the list with another season's worth of rushing attempts. It's a nice way of saying he's nearing the end of his career, but he remains productive - albeit somewhat inefficient - due to his superior fitness and training. Backup Robert Turbin has reportedly had a great spring and rookie Marlon Mack appears to be the future at the position, so expect Gore to be a low-end RB2 at best in 2017.

  • Posted: 6/15/2017 6:19pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore is still expected to remain the 'workhorse' back this season and see around 16 to 18 carries per game, according to Mike Chappell of CBS 4 Indianapolis.

Huddle Up: Gore isn't flashy, but as long as he seeing a bulk of the carries for the Colts, he is going to remain a dependable flex option with RB2 upside against weaker opponents.

  • Posted: 1/1/2017 4:34pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore rushed 16 times for 62 yards in the Week 17 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, becoming the fourth player in NFL history to top 1,000 yards at age 33 or older. He is the oldest since former Washington Redskins RB John Riggins achieved the feat in 1984, and first 1,000-yard rusher for the team since RB Joseph Addai in 2007.

Huddle Up: Gore's career is winding down, but he showed he can still be trusted for fantasy purposes. If he plays in 2017 and is the starter, he will be a decent low-end RB2 or flex fantasy play again.

  • Posted: 12/30/2016 2:29pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) was a full participant in practice for the second straight day Friday, Dec. 30.

Huddle Up: More of the usual from Gore, who consistently sits out on Wednesdays before logging full practices on Thursday and Friday. As has typically been the case with him this season, he'll be in the RB2 conversation, but don't be surprised if he sees some of his workload scaled back in the Colts' meaningless Week 17 finale.

  • Posted: 12/29/2016 2:10pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) participated fully in practice Thursday, Dec. 29.

Huddle Up: Gore is only 34 yards away from eclipsing the 1,000-yard mark. He played well versus the Jacksonville Jaguars in their first outing of the season, too, making Gore an RB2 candidate.

  • Posted: 12/28/2016 2:40pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Huddle Up: The Jacksonville Jaguars have not been good this year, but their rush defense has been somewhat of a silver lining. However, when Gore played them earlier this year he tallied 95 total yards and a touchdown. View him as an RB2 for the final week of the season.

  • Posted: 12/24/2016 7:54pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore rushed 13 times for 73 yards in the Week 16 game against the Oakland Raiders and he added one catch for 12 yards on two targets.

Huddle Up: Gore has posted 73 or more rushing yards in three of his past four games, finishing up the 2016 season strong. Even at 33 years old he remains a decent RB2 in most fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 12/23/2016 2:17pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 23, and is not on the injury report for Week 16.

Huddle Up: Gore has received at least 15 carries in five of his last six games and is coming off his second 100-yard game of the season. He only has four touchdowns on the season but should still be a reliable No. 2 running back for owners.

  • Posted: 12/22/2016 2:48pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) returned to practice at full capacity Thursday, Dec. 22.

Huddle Up: The Oakland Raiders have been just about as bad against the run as they have been against the pass this year. Gore just keeps on churning and could very well achieve another 1,000-yard season this week. Start him as an RB2.

  • Posted: 12/21/2016 2:40pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) received his usual day off Wednesday, Dec. 21.

Huddle Up: Props are in order to Gore for continuing to carry a heavy load at his age. He's just over 100 yards away from a 1,000-yard season, but don't expect him to reach that this week. He faces a top 10 Minnesota Vikings rush defense from a fantasy perspective. He's still an RB2 option, but set your standards lower.

  • Posted: 12/18/2016 6:16pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore rushed 26 times for 101 yards in the Week 15 game against the Minnesota Vikings. He added four receptions for 14 yards on four targets.

Huddle Up: The 100-yard game was the first for Gore since Week 6, and he hasn't visited the end zone in five straight games on the ground (he has one receiving score during the span). He remains more of a low-end RB2 heading into Week 16 in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/16/2016 12:42pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) practiced in full for the second consecutive day Friday, Dec. 16.

Huddle Up: This is just the usual routine for Gore, who sits out Wednesday before practicing on Thursday and Friday. While normally he's a rock-solid RB2 because of the offense he plays in, the former 49er figures to have less of a ceiling this week, as he'll be pitted against the very tough Minnesota defense.

  • Posted: 12/15/2016 3:03pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) participated fully in practice Thursday, Dec. 15.

Huddle Up: The Minnesota Vikings are more susceptible to the run than the pass, but they're still pretty good against the run. Starting any Colt this week is a risky proposition, but if there aren't better alternatives then Gore is best suited as a low-end RB2 or flex.

  • Posted: 12/14/2016 2:10pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) was held out of practice Wednesday, Dec. 14.

Huddle Up: Gore will be good to go for Week 15, but the Minnesota Vikings have been pretty stingy against running backs this year. Don't view Gore as more than a low-end RB2 or flex option.

  • Posted: 12/11/2016 9:47pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore rushed 10 times for 41 yards in the Week 14 game against the Tennessee Titans and he added two receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown on his two targets. Gore moved past former WR Terrell Owens for 11th on the NFL's all-time yards from scrimmage list.

Huddle Up: Gore hasn't posted a 100-yard game in seven straight outings dating back to Week 6, the last meeting in Houston. He remains more of a low-end RB2 in fantasy leagues at this point of his career.

  • Posted: 12/9/2016 1:24pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) practiced in full for the second straight day Friday, Dec. 9.

Huddle Up: Gore didn't practice on Wednesday, but that's just part of his usual routine before logging full practice sessions the rest of the week. As usual, he'll serve as a fine RB2 option this weekend.

  • Posted: 12/8/2016 3:17pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (rest) returned to practice and got in a full session Thursday, Dec. 8.

Huddle Up: Gore always sits out practice on Wednesdays before returning on Thursdays, so this is just the norm for the 12-year veteran. He's coming off a solid 79-yard effort -- his most rushing yards since Week 6 -- and can be slotted into his usual RB2 position this weekend.

  • Posted: 12/7/2016 2:39pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Huddle Up: Gore has received at least 15 carries in six of the last seven games and will continue to be a main part of the offense. He has rushed for only four touchdowns this season but can still be considered a No. 2 running back or a flex option because owners know what to expect from Gore.

  • Posted: 12/5/2016 9:17pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore rushed 20 times for 79 yards in the Week 13 game against the New York Jets Monday, Dec. 5. He did not have any catches on one target. Gore moved past Tony Dorsett for eighth all-time on the NFL's rushing yardage list.

Huddle Up: Gore's yardage total was his best since a 106-yard performance in Houston Oct. 16, his only triple-digit yardage game of the season. He'll face those same Texans next weekend in Indianapolis. He remains a decent low-end RB2 in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/24/2016 9:26pm ET

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore finished with 15 carries for 28 yards and one catch for three yards in a 28-7 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday, Nov. 24.

Huddle Up: The Steelers focused on stopping the run with Andrew Luck sidelined, and Gore was surprisingly uninvolved in the passing game. Once Luck returns to the lineup, Gore should go back to posting RB2 numbers.
