New Orleans Saints WR Tre'Quan Smith is expected to see a larger role after WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list, and Smith said he is 'ready for the opportunity.'

Huddle Up: Smith was able to show that he can be a threat down the field when he caught three passes for 111 and two touchdowns against the Washington Redskins in Week 5. He will be a boom-or-bust flex option against the Ravens in Week 7.

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Thursday, Oct. 18, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Cameron Meredith and Tre'Quan Smith probably will receive more targets in the passing game with Ginn sidelined. Both players should be owned in leagues because of the Saints offensive scheme and could be flex options against favorable matchups.

  • Posted: 10/17/2018 4:02pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Huddle Up: Owners should know more about Ginn's status later in the week. He has posted decent numbers so far this season, He would be facing a tough Baltimore Ravens defense if he plays and could be benched because of his uncertain status.

  • Posted: 10/6/2018 12:49pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) did not practice Saturday, Oct. 6 and he has been ruled out for the Week 5 game against the Washington Redskins on Monday, Oct. 8.

Huddle Up: With Ginn sidelined, Cameron Meredith might slide up to start alongside Michael Thomas with Tre'Quan Smith and Austin Carr perhaps seeing more targets as well.

  • Posted: 10/4/2018 4:30pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) was absent from practice on Thursday, Oct. 4.

Huddle Up: The veteran Ginn was just being rested here as the club works to manage his reps. He'll be available for New Orleans' home date with the Redskins on Monday Night Football this week, but he's someone to really only consider deploying in the deepest leagues. In his last game, Ginn failed to haul in any of his three targets.

  • Posted: 9/27/2018 3:29pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 27.

Huddle Up: Ginn was held to only 12 yards last week but still has recorded two touchdowns in the first three games. He is a risky option for owners because of his boom-or-bust play but can still be at least a flex option in leagues this week.

  • Posted: 9/20/2018 3:48pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 20.

Huddle Up: Ginn probably will be able to play this week as long as he does not suffer any setbacks. He has been targeted 13 times in the first two games and has posted 123 yards and one touchdown. He can be a decent flex option for owners in deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 9/16/2018 2:00pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. caught four passes for 55 yards against the Cleveland Browns in Week 2.

Huddle Up: Ginn was not able to reach the end zone this week but did post decent numbers against the Browns. He could be a flex option in some leagues next week against the Atlanta Falcons but is not a must-start player.

  • Posted: 9/14/2018 1:02pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 2.

Huddle Up: Ginn was able to post solid numbers in the Week 1 game and should continue to see a solid amount of targets moving forward. He can be considered a flex option in some fantasy leagues this week because of his big-play ability.

  • Posted: 9/13/2018 3:07pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 13.

Huddle Up: Ginn looks to have a decent change to play in Week 2 as long as he does not suffer a setback. He is coming off a solid Week 1 performance and could be a No. 3 receiver or flex option for fantasy owners this week.

  • Posted: 9/9/2018 1:59pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. caught five passes for 68 yards and one touchdown against the Tampa bay Buccaneers in Week 1.

Huddle Up: Ginn was coming off a solid 2017 season and continues to be a solid contributor in the Saints passing game. He should have a favorable matchup next week and can be a low-end No. 3 receiver or a flex option in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 1/14/2018 5:34pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. racked up eight receptions for 72 yards on 11 targets in the NFC Divisional Round playoff game loss against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Jan. 14.

Huddle Up: Ginn had a productive season, posting 53 grabs for 787 yards and four touchdowns in the regular season. He hasn't lost anything in the speed department, either, even at 32 years of age. Ginn could head into 2018 as a decent complementary receiver to Michael Thomas, serving as a WR4 or flex fantasy option in seasonal play yet again.

  • Posted: 1/7/2018 5:44pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. posted four receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown in the NFC Wild Card Game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, Jan. 7. The big play was an 80-yard touchdown against his former team.

Huddle Up: Ginn continues to have blinding speed and he got behind his former teammates for a big play. He'll be counted upon for more fireworks in the NFC Divisional Round against the Minnesota Vikings in a difficult matchup.

  • Posted: 12/24/2017 6:48pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. caught four passes on five targets for 76 yards, including a 54-yard touchdown, in a 23-13 win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Ginn's big-play ability was on display in this one, but he remains a boom-or-bust flex play. That being said, you may want to roll the dice on him in Week 17 against a vulnerable Tampa Bay secondary.

  • Posted: 12/22/2017 2:34pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (ribs) practiced in full Friday, Dec. 22, and he was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 16 game with the Atlanta Falcons.

Huddle Up: Ginn should be ready to go and he'll be a dependable WR5 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams.

  • Posted: 12/21/2017 3:24pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (rib) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 21.

Huddle Up: Ginn appears to be on track to play in Week 16, but owners should check on his status later in the week. He has targeted only five times in his last two games but should still have a solid role in the passing game. He can be at least a flex option in some leagues.

  • Posted: 12/20/2017 4:20pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (rib) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 20.

Huddle Up: Ginn was not able to play in Week 15 but appears to have a decent chance to play this week if he can tolerate the pain from his rib. He has been limited to 37 yards in his last two games but has fantasy value because of his big-play ability.

  • Posted: 12/17/2017 6:49am ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (ribs) will not play in Week 15's game against the New York Jets, according to a source.

  • Posted: 12/15/2017 1:38pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (ribs) was limited in practice Friday, Dec. 15, and he is listed as questionable for the Week 15 game against the New York Jets.

Huddle Up: Ginn should be treated as a WR4 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams at this point.

  • Posted: 12/14/2017 3:11pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (ribs) got in a limited practice Thursday, Dec. 14.

Huddle Up: This is an upgrade over yesterday, when Ginn was sidelined, so it's a good sign for his chances of playing on Sunday. The former Carolina Panther has proven to be the ultimate boom-or-bust option throughout his career, and this year has certainly been no different, though he only has a pair of scores to show for his efforts. Ginn has only managed two catches apiece in each of his last two games, so owners would probably be better off rolling with someone else instead.

  • Posted: 12/13/2017 2:38pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (ribs) was unable to practice Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Huddle Up: Ginn appears to be an early question mark for Week 15. When healthy he is nothing more than a WR4 in most fantasy leagues. Circle back around Friday when the official injury designations come out before making a final decision.

  • Posted: 11/26/2017 8:32pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. caught seven passes on 11 targets for 71 yards in 26-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12.

Huddle Up: Ginn is quietly putting together a decent season, and he has logged at least 59 receiving yards in six of his last seven games. Throw in his big-play ability, and Ginn can be considered a low-end WR3.

  • Posted: 11/19/2017 7:35pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. caught six passes for 87 yards in a 34-31 win over the Washington Redskins in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Ginn bounced back after managing just one catch for three yards last weekend, but he is going to remain a boom-or-bust flex option going forward.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 5:06pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. posted four receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown on five targets in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Huddle Up: Ginn has two or more catches in every game this season to serve as a solid WR4 in all formats, and he has three scores over the past six outings. The Saints heads to Western New York for a visit with the Bills in Week 10.

  • Posted: 10/29/2017 2:54pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. caught two passes for 68 yards against the Chicago Bears in Week 8.

Huddle Up: Ginn has been a big-play option for the Saints this season and has at least 66 yards in each of the last three games. Ginn should continue to be a solid option the team's passing game and can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 10/22/2017 2:42pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. caught seven passes for 141 yards against the Green Bay Packers in Week 7.

Huddle Up: Ginn has received a bigger role over the last few weeks and posted his first 100-yard game of season. He is should receive a solid amount of targets against the Chicago Bears next week and can be a No. 3 receiver or a flex option.
