Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck said he is very comfortable with the offense that offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton is bringing to the team. 'I am 100 percent more comfortable,' Luck said. 'On this day last year, I was probably sitting in class. It is nice to be able to have the full offseason with the team. We have changed (offensive) coordinators, but I have had a great relationship with Pep Hamilton from before. To be around him and talk his style of offense has been great. It is just nice to be around the guys.'

Huddle Up: Luck, coming off a standout rookie season in which he threw for 4,374 yards and 23 TDs and guided the Colts into the playoffs, is reunited with Hamilton, his 2011 offensive coordinator at Stanford. That familiarity, combined with the strides QBs typically take from their rookie to sophomore seasons, should translate into a sizable fantasy jump for Luck.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck said he is looking forward to playing in the offense that offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton is bringing to the team. Luck said the Hamilton's offense will incorporate West Coast offensive tendencies with the offense they ran this season.

Huddle Up: Bruce Arians' offense had more deep ball to it, so there may be fewer home runs from Luck this season. However, his familiarity with Hamilton can only help, and there's no reason the Colts can't take a few shots down the field even if they're running a WCO-heavy scheme.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck said he will not need surgery on the knee that has bothered him for most of the season. He said rest should take care of the injury.

Huddle Up: Despite the Colts' 9-win improvement in 2012, Luck's passer rating (76.5) was less than sterling, and a lot of that had to do with the pressure he had to deal with all season. Indy gave up the ninth-most sacks (41) in the league, and improving the offensive line and pass protection will be near the top of the Horseshoe's offseason to-do list.

Indianapolis Colts coach Chuck Pagano said on a conference call Wednesday that the team won't rest its starters and will play anyone medically cleared to play in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Houston Texans, according to a report by the Houston Chronicle. Win or lose Sunday, Indy is locked into the AFC's fifth playoff seed. “It’s a 16 game season and this is the last game of the season,” Pagano said. “We set some goals for ourselves a long time ago and watching what this team has done in my absence for the last three months, at this point we owe it to ourselves, this community, our fans and our city. It’s just not in our DNA to go out and say we’re going to rest this guy or that guy.”

Huddle Up: Great news for fantasy owners of Colts' players, who are sure to respond with an inspired effort with Pagano returning to sideline after a 3-month absence for leukemia treatments. The only scenario where we could see some Indy subs is if the game gets out of hand in the second half with the Texans pulling away.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck went 17-for-35 for 205 yards and one touchdown in Week 16 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Luck has set the NFL rookie record for passing yards in a season surpassing Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton's mark of 4,051 yards set in 2011.

Huddle Up: Luck has most definitely lived up to his No. 1 overall pick billing, but it hasn't exactly translated into fantasy success for his owners of late as he's be limited to a total of 4 TD passes and 205 yards or less in his past 3 outings.

Posted: 12/9/2012 7:47pm et

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck went 16-for-34 for 196 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans. He has thrown for 3,792 yards which sets the franchise record for passing yards by a rookie.

Huddle Up: The Colts won for the seventh time in 8 games, but Luck wasn't much help for his fantasy owners with his lowest passing-yardage total since Week 7.

Posted: 12/1/2012 7:22pm et

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck, Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III, Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill, Cleveland Browns QB Brandon Weeden and Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson have led their teams to a combined 26 wins this season, the most in a season for rookie quarterbacks since the 1970 merger.

Huddle Up: Luck's Colts have been the best of the bunch with 7 wins, but Griffin has been the top rookie -- and No. 1 QB overall -- with an average of 26.38 fantasy points per game (Huddle Performance scoring). Luck, meanwhile, isn't too far off the pace with 23.69 points per outing.

Posted: 12/1/2012 7:22pm et

Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning is on pace to throw a career-high 4,742 yards this season. His 67.7 completion percentage is just off his career-best 68.8 in 2009, when he won his most recent MVP award.

Huddle Up: For a mid-round draft pick due to the preseason health uncertainty, Manning also has been a fantasy revelation, currently ranking sixth with 269 points (Huddle Performance scoring). If you own Manning and drafted well in earlier rounds, you're likely looking at one of your league's top playoff seeds.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck completed 18-of-26 for 227 yards and an interception in Thursday night's 27-10 Week 10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Luck also rushed 7 times for 11 yards and pair of TDs on 5- and 1-yard runs.

Huddle Up: Of Luck's 15 touchdowns this season, a third have come via the ground, proving that RGIII doesn't have a monopoly on rookie QB rushing scores.

Posted: 11/8/2012 2:00pm et

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck has passed for two touchdowns and six interceptions on the road this season compared to eight touchdowns and two interceptions at home. Luck and the Colts visit Jacksonville for an AFC South matchup on Thursday night .

Huddle Up: Luck and the Jags already have been acquainted this season with the rookie throwing for 313 yards, 2 TDs and an interception while rushing for a season-high 50 yards in a Week 3 clash in Indy. The Jags, however, won the game, 22-17.

Posted: 11/4/2012 9:17pm et

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck completed 30 of his 48 passes for 433 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 9 win against the Miami Dolphins. With the 433 yards, Luck broke the single-game rookie NFL record for passing yardage in a game. The previous mark was set by Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton, who had 422 yards in a game last season.

Huddle Up: Luck continued his run of outstanding home performances as he shredded the Dolphins in leading the Colts to a 23-20 win and a 5-3 record at the season's midway point. Of Luck's 13 passing and rushing TDs this season, 11 have come at Lucas Oil Stadium, where the Colts are 4-1 this season.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 24.

Huddle Up: Luck seemingly has hit a wall of late with no passing TDs or 300-yard games since Week 5. This week's matchup with the Titans, though, could be just what the rookie needs as Tennessee ranks sixth worst in the league in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing QBs.

Posted: 9/15/2012 11:05pm et

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck said he expects significant improvement heading into his Week 2 game. 'Yeah, I think, I feel much more competent,' Luck said. 'I'm a big believer in competence over confidence. I feel like, 'Okay, I've been through a game and understand the situations better, I understand how the speed is.' So understanding that, I guess, gives me more competence.'

Huddle Up: Despite his 3 interceptions, Luck had a few moments in the opening loss to the Bears, throwing for 309 yards and a TD. He now gets to play before a home crowd, which will help with Jared Allen and the Vikings' pass rush.

Posted: 9/1/2012 8:09pm et

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck led the AFC with 522 passing yards in the preseason.

Huddle Up: Fellow rookie QB Robert Griffin III was all the rage entering the preseason, but Luck stole much of the hype with his eye-opening exhibition season. Luck should have been snatched up long ago in keeper leagues, and will also have fantasy value as a starter in larger leagues and as a backup in standard leagues.

Posted: 8/21/2012 8:18pm et

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck is expected to see extensive playing time in his team's Saturday preseason game against the Washington Redskins, likely playing into the second half. Luck played the first two quarters against the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday, Aug. 19.

Huddle Up: If possible, the draft's first overall pick has looked better than advertised so far this preseason, completing 63.4 percent of his passes and leading all QBs with an average of 181.5 passing yards per outing. As a result, his fantasy draft stock also has taken a corresponding uptick or two. Now, Luck gets a juicy, head-to-head matchup with 2nd-overall pick Robert Griffin III on Saturday, and you can be sure both franchises will want to showcase their shiny new QBs.

Posted: 8/12/2012 11:12pm et

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck went 10-for-16 with 188 yards and two touchdowns against the St. Louis Rams in the Colts' first preseason game Sunday, Aug. 12.

Huddle Up: When it comes to rookie QBs, RGIII has been getting most of the preseason love, but don't overlook the draft's No. 1 overall pick. Luck could hardly have been more impressive Sunday, guiding Indy into the end zone on three of his four drives. And, yes, we realize it only was the preseason opener against the lowly Rams. Griffin is ranked higher than Luck -- and deservedly so -- because of his rushing prowess, but the former Stanford standout can pull the ball down and do something with it when necessary. Witness the 300 yards and 2.5 TDs he averaged on the ground during his final two college seasons.

Posted: 7/19/2012 5:08pm et

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck signed a four-year deal worth $22 million, all of it guaranteed. The deal also includes an option for a fifth year.

Huddle Up: Don't worry Colts fans, Luck will be in camp to prepare for his 12 sacks vs. Chicago and Minnesota in Weeks 1 & 2.

Posted: 6/28/2012 7:10pm et

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck said he is confident a deal will get done before training camp opens. However, in the meantime, Luck continues to focus on learning the team's playbook. 'I focus on football, especially having missed so much (practice) time because of school,' said Luck. 'I didn't want very many distractions to make sure I catch up in terms of time with everybody else. My agent (Will Wilson) will handle (negotiations).'

Huddle Up: Pete DiPrimio of the News-Sentinel reports: "Luck is behind because he missed most of last month's organized workouts to finish his academic obligations at Stanford. Now that he's graduated and a full-time NFL player, he's trying to make up for lost time... Luck threw football with Indianapolis kids Tuesday afternoon outside of Lucas Oil Stadium rather than being inside throwing with, say, fellow rookie Coby Fleener."

Posted: 6/12/2012 9:27pm et

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck returned to the team Tuesday, June 12, for the first time in 5 1/2 weeks, and he had only one of his 16 passes hit the ground during workouts. The team is beginning their three-day mandatory minicamp.

Huddle Up: Luck opens the regular season at Chicago, which should be a warm and fuzzy introduction to pro football. Then he's at home vs. Minnesota, who tied for the league-lead with 50 sacks last year.
